Why does a boy in a family of girls get not only more attention, but also gets away with more disobedience????

My brothers always got away with things, but we never did. Why?

I can only say that from coming from a family of 5 sisters 1 brother i know what you mean. I n our family it was just a given that the girls would do chores like dishes, laundry and cooking and he got taking out the garbage and feeding the dog. There was definitely a difference in his dating and ours also. as i look back now it was just a double standard that my parents grew up with and it got passed down.

because he has all sisters and no brothers and he probably has a hard time dealing with his sisters
