If you still in love with each other, and have no interest in anyone else, why not just get remarried, and then you can be respectfully saying it is your wife.

well you used to be married to her, thats why shes your ex....so when you divorce, you kinda start a clean slate. If you are living together then I would say she would be your partner. If you are just dating and sleeping together, then I would say girlfriend. I think girlfriend is the best....ex-wife suggests problems of the past....girlfriend suggests newness and happiness....go with girlfriend, its more exciting.

I think that titles are unimportant. It does not really matter except to the courts the status of one person to another. It does not become important until one or the other wants to take some portion of what does not belong to them as benefit without effort, meaning profit without accomplishment. Stealing is legal and the courts of this country will help you if you find the right title and the law that protects it.
