My husband and I have the best relationship when we are by ourselves but, when we get around our friends and other people sometimes he talks to me like I'm dirt. Any ideas as to why he does this?

When I got re-married 3 years ago, I was almost debt free. After the "I-do's " My wife talked me into a joint checking account. Now I really regret it, she spends OUR money like we have plenty of it. She pays bills late, writes hot checks and has a terrible E-bay habit to name a few things. I now really regret doing this, but I love my wife and want her to be more responsible. I also know the flaming backlash I will recieve when I tell her I've decided to keep a seperate account.
So, how would you handle this one? Any experience with this ?

I've been seeing this guy for the past year. Just told him today that it's probably best that we don't see each other anymore. He said let's talk and work things out. Then said you are very special. Not sure wha to make of that. Confused.

My husband lies about stupid crap for the most part, but also about things like money, for instance he got his paycheck and told me it was one amount, then he left his paystub out and I found out he lied and it was a lot more than he said. I don't know why he does it, if he wanted to buy something as long as our bills were paid, I wouldn't even care! I am not jealous, or controlling over him whatsoever, but he lies about where he is once in awhile and little stuff a lot. I've told him I would leave him if it doesn't stop, but I get the feeling he doesn't believe me because he doesn't stop. It's just hard, I'm almost 6 months pregnant and do not have the time or energy to deal with this!

Started dating someome recently (about 6 weeks now) and he informed me about 3 dates in that he just isn't over his ex. she broke up with me....and she has a new boyfriend now.
She tells me that she still loves me the way she use to....and wants to come see me...i still love her too.

She said It's not to get back together.

She knows that i would work things out with her with whatever caused the breakup...
She always turns to me when she is needs help.~

Me: What's your purpose in coming to see me?
Her: nothing

Her: i just want to.

Note: She's my distant cousin .
She's perfectly fine with cousin's dating as well as me.

Ok, I've answered a lot of questions and I'd like to think that I've helped a few people. But now it's my turn to ask something.
It's something that's been an enemy of mine.
When you've been hurt and used a lot, how do you find it within
yourself to love again? I'm not talking about some simple hurt, like a G/F dumped me for another guy. I mean things like finding out my daughter's not mine and her mother had 5 abortions that were mine while we were dating but strung me along. Then later said she didn't need any more kids and gave the one who wasn't mine away for adoption.
The one woman who I really reached in all things, years later, died of cancer, then her sister tried to come on to me while I was vulnerable, and confused, and played me for as long as she could. I'm not an innocent. But I think my judgement must
be impaired. I'm a user magnet it seems.I don't want to be
hard and unfeeling. How do you know who to love?
If I do happen to find someone decent,how can I trust?

I live with her and her mother so it make a very uncomfortable living situation.I honestly don't know what i did wrong, she doesn't speak to me and tries to avoid me all the time. I asked her a million times what i did to upset her but she always says that she's not upset or angry with me but her actions say a whole different story. I don't have a lot of relationship experience, but I'm pretty sure it's not considered appropriate to go out drinking with an ex. I could easily stop her from doing anything that would instantly end our relationship by coming along, but I'd almost rather have her screw up now rather than wait until we're married and she's messing around with other guys.

She told me that when she drinks she gets turned on, so I suspect the worst results to happen this Saturday.

What do you think? Should I go along or let some disaster happen now rather than later? Are her actions inappropriate or am I overreacting?

My mom is always on me about something. Either my homework isn't done, my room isn't clean, my hair is tangled. How can I tell her to just back off. I can't take it anymore!
