My friend is like really competitive and stuff and she always has to be better then me. Also she likes to control me. For example, she nearly made me buy a dog I didn't like at all. She scares me so I do what she wants me 2 do. It makes me scared that she can push me around like this, but then we have a lot of fun together, sometimes. My mom won't help and I really just can't say 'I don't want to be friend anymore' because we have been best friends for a long time. *Xtra Info*: she hates me 2 b friends with people she doesn't particularily like. For instance, she doesn't want me 2 b friends with this kid I get along with a lot because she thinks she is 'too girly and snotty' even though she is xtra xtra both of those things. Other then say no to her, what else can I do to help my situation and just be strong. Plus she tells lies A LOT so I can never trust that she is telling the truth. She is so manipulative I really don't know what to do. I don't want to be a door mat for anyone!

I've been talking with my ex-boyfriend, who is my best friend, on the phone for the past three nights, and even though he has a girlfriend, I still kind of like him.
And at 4 this morning, after I was about to fall asleep so I got off the phone with him around 3:45, he sends me a message: "I liked talking with you tonight. It was nice."

We broke up on tuesday and i am so confused by him. i want him back but he is confusing me so much and is so frusterating. He doesnt call me or text me anymore but he occasionally IMs me and says that he hopes we will find each other again in the near future and that he is missing me more everyday. Then he tells me all his plans for the weekend and says well, have a good weekend if i dont talk to you and goes offline. I am really sad because all i am trying to do is give him his space because it seems like thats what he wants but when he says stuff like that it just makes me realy sad becuase he clearly is not going to do anything about his "missing" me. Anyways what do i do now with a full weekend ahead of me with no plans, and everyone i know is working ALL weekend. I dont want to sit around and pout and i dont want him to think i am giving in by calling him at all. What to do to take my mind off of him???

There was this guy I really like, lets call him Tyson, and my boyfriend I just got, lets call him Tyler. Ok so on St. Patricks Day my "now" ex girlfriend of 11 months goes with some friends over at a hangout party ( She told me of them and I said okay, unquestionably trusting her ) According to her, she was talking to her friend she knows at College and he has a crush on her, and he moves in to kiss her and she allows it. She feels horribly crush, thinking that its over, and since it was near my birthday, she was afraid I'll never forgive her, and she can never be with me without feeling guilt. But I think shes confused, because she broke up with me thinking that because of that she doesnt love me, and she "MIGHT" like this guy. So, I at first get angry on my b-day ( the 20th ), tell her lets make it work the next day, she says we'll see. And we're going to talk about it next wednesday, so how can I convince her we'll make it? This all happened unexpectactly, and she wishes it has never happened. How can I save the girlfriend I love? I do forgive her, but how can I prove itl work?

Is it possible that two consenting adults having an affair can ever be a good thing? What if both partners are in a loveless relationship at home but there are lots of other issues such as kids and houses and money and everyone elses life to consider.
What if the only place to get that kind of emotional and physical need filled is with someone who is in the exact same boat as you? I know it's morally wrong but perhaps there are some people out there that feel the same and can provide that perspective.

Ok this guy asked me to prom, but first he laid claim on me a month before everyone so no one else would ask me. Hes always been a great friend for years. Then all the sudden, he starts being weird around me and then prom comes and its a blast just like i though it would be, he told me he had lots of fun also. Then about 3 days later he just randomly stops talking to me and will only text me if he has anything to say. The texts are shallow and weird. Now after this has been going on for 2 weeks he starts sitting and trying to talk to me again, because I told him he was a snob and ignored him. Meantime I make the cheer squad and now hes seems interested again. Am I stupid or is he just a user?

Ok - My ex has started dating a new guy about 2 months ago. I told her from the beginning "Thats great, happy for you if your happy!"

Here's the rub. Everytime we have a disagreement usually by email (our divorce isn't final for 2 more weeks) she throws in something like "I am getting engaged" "Or I am moving in with B" I think she does this because she is still hurt and angry at me. Trying to hurt me. I let her know that it doesnt bother me. Any opinions?

And yes she can act immature and spiteful when she is mad or hurt.

My boyfriend broke up with me because I am going to a different High School. About a month ago he told me we where made for eachother and that even if we were separated he would make it work.
