jennifer is a derivation from the name guinevere or gwenhwyhfar. gwen meaning 'fair, white' and hwyfar meaning 'smooth'. guinevere was the wife of king arthur, so she must have been beautiful. i like the name jennifer its a pretty name, and i picture a pretty girl :P

My best friend's name is Jennifer. She's awesome. She's a pretty girl, she's very smart, she's a great singer, and she's a Tae Kwon Do instructor, so when guys hit on her when she doesn't want them to, she could kick their arses if she wanted!

I think of either a blonde or brunnette who is pretty, funny, and smart. Just because your friend hates her name, doesn't mean he can't like her! give her a chance, she'll suprise you all. she could be the sweetest, nicest, cutest girl a guy could meet. Don't write her off because of her name...if your friend really likes her, her name won't matter. she could be named justin, but it wouldn't matter.
