Ok this guy asked me to prom, but first he laid claim on me a month before everyone so no one else would ask me. Hes always been a great friend for years. Then all the sudden, he starts being weird around me and then prom comes and its a blast just like i though it would be, he told me he had lots of fun also. Then about 3 days later he just randomly stops talking to me and will only text me if he has anything to say. The texts are shallow and weird. Now after this has been going on for 2 weeks he starts sitting and trying to talk to me again, because I told him he was a snob and ignored him. Meantime I make the cheer squad and now hes seems interested again. Am I stupid or is he just a user?

Regardless of your feelings for him ask yourself this:
Do you like being treated this way?
If it is okay then it doesn't matter.
If it isn't don't pretend like it is just because you like this guy. Unless you let him know how you want to be treated-with some degree of clarity and respect-he'll keep doing what he's doing. Once you let him know he'll either shape up or ship out.

I really don't think he's a user, you said you've been friends for a long time, maybe he's afraid that he's leading you on and he really just wants to be friends and only that. You should kind of talk to him and see if he has another girl that he's interested in and just put your feelings out there! But, guys are weird, just NEVER really know what they're thinking! I have exactly the same problem..it seems to be on and off for the last four years with this guy I know..and i just feel like a fool because everytime he comes back I fall for him all over again..my advice though is to just forget about it that way you cant look like a fool and if its meant to be it'll happen...hope it does;o)

We guys are fickled its best not to take it personally he probably doesnt even know what he wants. Best thing is to talk to him about it see what went wrong and go from there...One thing about life is you cant be afraid of the truth just go ask him why he stopped. But like the first person said its probably just puberty.

ok im 13 yrs old no one takes my advise but maybe u will i dont no i think hes a user since u got on the cheer squad and now he wants u back ya def. cause now he can say "o look my g/f's on the cheer squad i love my lil cheerleader" hes a big user from wat i can see i wouldnt take that my mom ok she s 30 and so many guys used her and now shes finallly relizing that they r everyone tried telling her but she never listened so i would stop and take care of it now be4 it gets worse .

He either really likes you, or just wants to be friends, Maybe he saw you do something like talking to another guy, More attractive and Jocky, and is Jelous, Jelousy plays a big role in a guys ego, so Just talk to him about it..!! Hope i helped!!
