I have a boyfriend who I love very much. We have been going for almost 3 years now. But the thing is he is wanting to get married in the next 2 years and I really do not want to get married yet. My career is more important to me than anything else. I just accepted a job in a different country and I'll be gone for a couple years.

We've been having problems with this. He wants to get married and does not want me to go. I keep telling him to have a little faith and we'll make it work. I'm so stressed out and don't know what to do. I love him and I don't want to lose him but at the same him my career is very important to me.

i need to laugh
i just found out that my ex bf (who is now one of my best friends that i can tell anything to) almost died he is now paralized from the waist down n' i feel horrible cuz he lives in a diff state n' i cant drive so i cant be there for him n' wen i broke up w/him i broke his heart n' i love him like crazy n' yea i just really need a laugh right now

Ino a deep dark valleys of greed ,jealousy, self condemnation,Deep pain and feeling very lost ,coming out of there valleys,I feel refreshed,more clear -like after a thunderstorm in a hot summer .But the next valley follows soon afterwards.Are these dark valleys a sort of cleaning ? does this need to happen again and again?

I was just wondering if it is normal to always find a certain flaw in every guy that causes me to not want to date them when they really like me. They are not huge flaws, but big enough for me not wanting to date the guy. Some examples these flaws have been one guy was always sad, one was younger than me, one talked all the time; never listened, one dated one of my friends, one was known as desperate, one was creepy looking. I feel like all of these are all reasonable yet it seems like everytime I find a flaw. Am I too picky?

My family is constantly expecting me to end up being a successful doctor/dentist/someone who makes a lotttt of money. I tell them that I want to be a doctor, but I really want to look into fashion & designing...I know that if I tell them this, they will be disappointed, especially since my older sister is majoring in biology in college and is pursuing her career of becoming a general surgeon. What should I do? Should I agree with my parents and become a doctor, or should I tell them what I want to be? I don't want them to completely give up on me or anything...

We had been together for 5 years and things just went downhill the last 2 years or so. We had our own place and were suddenly unlawfully evicted, and forced to immediately move in with a family member of mine. We stayed here for over a year, then we broke up. She has no where to go, and no friends who are in a position to help her out. I made her leave and stay with her mother, who has a studio apartment with her husband. She calls me after 3 days and tells me her mother said she cannot stay there, theres no space. She cries and begs me to let her stay here. We reluctantly allow her back, ONLY so she can get a job and move out. Now she's having guys from MYSPACE call here. Should a girl in this position suddenly be having guys calling her at MY families house? Do I not have all the right in the world to feel completely disrespected? I am 150% over her, there's honestly not a bit of jealousy in my frustration. She thinks its completely acceptable. Should I not feel upset???

every so offen me and my boyfiend would have an off day and start saying things we dont remember what even even said to the other person (like 5 mins later). The other person would would get mad and not give it up (mostly him) being mad. (it was all most over for us tonight)

since we started dating about a year ago (going on 11 months) since day one of us dating my mother has said i could only see him one a week either on a friday after he is off of work or on saturday. (im 21 and he is 29)

I resently just got a job (a week ago after about a year of not having one). I can tell that my parents are now some what more lean with me.


So my question(s) is 1. how can i not make my boyfriend mad (so it not over between us). 2. how can i see more offen then about once a week.
