Isnt it funny how in the movies a guy respectful sweet caring understand & of overall nice guy is cool even tough but in real life they just get hurt. Anyone else agree....?

Ahhh was raised to be those things & open doors for others just tired of feeling like those are bad things. Be it opening the door offending that person or trying to just be a good friend & caring about someone only to have them bail for that very reason it's just so backwards & so just tired.....

everyone gets hurt. and movies can't go on forever but if they could. they'll probably get hurt. hollywood just wants to give you what you paid for which is a happy ending. movies with bad endings people don't like and doesn't make as much money. because people talk.

I agree with you but there are some of us that still like guys that are respectful and open doors the whole nine yards. Although i seem to fall for the bad boy types that doesn't mean that i wouldn't like to have a nice respectful guy in my life. It seems as though most guys usually fall for the girls that treat them like crap also. Thinking that looks and not personality is everything. You sound like a very nice gentlemen and i hope that you find someone that will love you and stick by you through thick and then. Good Luck!

Well as long as you know that its not just the guy that gets hurt, its also the woman. It happens to all of us that are kind hearted and get taken advantage of, its not planned but happens weather we like it or not. I am a woman and am personally wondering if there are any men that really want a wonderful woman? Its not just one sided, its two sided and we have all been hurt so lets work together and make up a club for all hurt peoples and start new with someone who cares. Take care Heather

Yes, I agree, but there are some nice guys who might not get hurt.I say that guys who are just a little bit more outgoing and tough don't get hurt as much.

dont worry if your a nice guy ... when the time is right you will find a nice girl too ... if all the girls u have ever dealt with have not appreciated u for what u are and all that you do than honestly those girls dont deserve u ... plzz dont let some bad experiences make u think that there arent nice girls out there looking and waiting for guys like u to sweep them off thier feet ... believe me wait and watch.... everything will work out for u MR. Guys feel the real pain when they fell truly deeply madly inlove. But usually when a guy get hurt because of a girl, this maybe because of their ego. Let's face it, guys are egoistic. Don't you think?

get hurt is acceptable cause still they are human, but i'm afraid the problem is 'heroes' as if in movies doesn't really exist to my dissapointment.

it is just hard to live up to standards of movies..you can have happiness but it has to be with the right person..and work for you..
