My friend over a while has fallen into the wrong crowd. She has begun to start drinking and smoking and besides the fact that its her decision, it is hurting her old "true" friends that care about her. I confronted her and wrote her a letter and spoke with all of her old friends about it. Her old friends agree with me and said I am being a good friend talk to her about it. But when I talk to her she says that I have nothing to be worried about and so far I am the only one that has said anything. I am the only one that has the guts to say anything. I don't know where to go from here. I know everyone changes and wants to feel wanted and accepted but its there anything I can do that can make her realize how much it makes others hurt to see her this way?

My boyfrind rents the owner's suite in a house that my mom and dad use as a share rental. (they rent the rooms out-short term) They do not live there and currently the other 3 bedrooms are empty so he has the house to himself. Well on sunday he was in his room watching sports on his big screen tv when he heard the door open. he comes out to find my parents walking through the house! My mom said she has the right because the house is common area except the bedrooms. I am PISSED because I think she should have called and said hey we are out front...make sure your dressed, or something! It will be different when there are others in there, but right now, there is not! Am I over reacting?

ive been together with my boyfriend for 8 months and things are getting dull. he has 2 part time jobs and seems like he has no time for me. we used to have so much fun together and do cute things for each other, now i can't even have a conversation with him because either he is working, or when i try and have a decent conversation with him, he ignores me and goes on about working out and his jobs. i dont know what to do, i've tried talking to him about but i dont think he understands. i love him alot but how can we get things fun again like they used to be?

I've been answering questions on Yahoo for awhile now, I find the forum very interesting...but depressing at times, as couple after couple seems to suffer through various trauma's, from infidelity to lying to abuse. However, a little personal research and various news items lately have suggested that alot of this can be attributed directly to the personality of the people involved...happy, upbeat and optimistic people tend to get married and stay together, perhaps because they see the good in people when times are tough. Depressed, angry, bitter people tend to get divorced, which simply reinforces their bitterness. I know this oversimples reality, but it still begs the question: Should we be looking for a specific marrying type of personality?

my ex really likes me and i like him a lot too but idunno. he likes his bestfriend whose a girl.and she likes him but she has a boyfriend. she goes to the same school as me, but he wouldn't tell me who she was he just said " no one important".he was afraid we were going to fight eachother. and i guess she made a myspace and added him and she saw me on his page so she adds me. we talked but shes cool and shes like "i'm so mad at him for not telling me who you were.he never told me you were actually really sweet" then she told me he would just tell her "no one important"..he said that to both of us. he got back with me and hes said i like you more than her. but i think hes lieing, cus she has already had a bf and he probably didn't want to say that. i'm really confused because he use to be really cool until that girl told him she likes him now he seems confused all the time and hes just weird now. should i just get over him or what should i do?
