ive been together with my boyfriend for 8 months and things are getting dull. he has 2 part time jobs and seems like he has no time for me. we used to have so much fun together and do cute things for each other, now i can't even have a conversation with him because either he is working, or when i try and have a decent conversation with him, he ignores me and goes on about working out and his jobs. i dont know what to do, i've tried talking to him about but i dont think he understands. i love him alot but how can we get things fun again like they used to be?

Welcome to the real world.

You know it's true love when you're both working 50+ hours a week and still hold hands on the couch for an hour before you collapse from exhaustion.

First of all, it's between the two of you to put excitement back into your relationship, you can't do all of the work. You also need to make sure YOU are happy, he is not there to make you happy or excited, you must do that in order to bring happiness into the relationship.

If you truly have talked to him about this and he doesn't respond, well, I don't think he is ready to be in a relationship quite yet, but don't be upset b/c there are plenty of people out there who are ready.

Have you tried saying, "Keep this Friday open" and then planning a fantastic and surprising night. Maybe go to a cabin for the weekend? sometimes you just need to branch out of the norm every now and then- not just dinner and a movie, but something wild and different. That keeps things fun and interesting.

does that help?

well you must go to tell him that you need more time with him and also you need to tell him that if he have any free time let you know and then you both can make a decision for your future planning and let him more close to you, you know what i meant so best of luck.
