My gf and I are very much in love but Things are tense between us do to personal struggles and I am wanting to make things better for us. My fiance's parents are not welcome at our wedding. This is a decision that has been made by both of us because of some very hurtful things his parents have done in the past. His ex-wife lives with his parents and they treat her like a daughter and my fiance like a dog. As just one exampe his mother at one point called and told us that his younger sister was paralized and in the hospital to try to get him to go back to our hometown because she wanted to see him. We called his sister to find out that she was at the hospital, but only because she is a doctor. Long story short, we will not change our minds on this. His mother will only ruin our big day by showing up with his ex or by making an *** of herself. How do I include my parents names in the wedding programs without including his? Or should I include their names even though they aren't welcome? I thought of saying "the bride will be given away by her parents..." Any other good program related ideas would be appreciated.

My fiance's (the bride) parents did give us a little money, and my parents are going to pay for about half of the reception hall. I know it is custom to put the bride's parents as the one's that are inviting people to the wedding, but my parents are actually putting up more money than them, and my fiance and I are putting up the most. I obviously don't care to put it from us, and I don't know how to not upset either parents. What should we do???

A question for you ladies. How long would you stay with a man before you just give up on marriage and start all over again in a new relationship, and hope marriage comes from that. The situation is I have been with my boyfriend going on 3 ½ years we have a 2 month old. He is an amazing father and an amazing boyfriend. Provides for both of us. We live together as a family. But everytime I bring up marriage he gets cold feet. He never had a relationship with his mother or father basically raised himself and his sister’s his mother passed away a month ago that was the first time I had ever seen him cry in the 3 ½ years we been together.. And he seems so distant at times due to what has been done to him in the past with other woman ex girlfriends cheating..saying they were pregnant and weren’t or pregnant had a abortion behind his back. He does not say to me I’m never going to marry you, but he says why ask me when im going to marry you don’t you want it to be a surpise I get down one knee with a beautiful ring and ask for you to spend the rest of you life with me. when he proposes don’t I want a nice wedding and plan one. I have no idea what to think if he is just stringing me along and 3 or 4 years from now its still the same boyfriend and girlfriend with our child being a family or should I just forget this relationship and move on and try to find someone that is ready for marriage. Its been 3 ½ years is that enough time to know that you are going to get married. As for our child no question there he is an amazing father no on will ever take his place in her life.

First of all i know this really attractive girl for quite some time lets say bout 2-3 years now, now im in uni shes still in high skool we've known each other quite well now and we treat each other like brothers-sisters, but the problem is i dont even have the guts to ask her and shes got like 4 other guys thats even closer to her, shes the type of person that will go with anyone basically shes more active than me (not in sporting issue). everytime she comes over to my place all she does is watch tv eat snacks and chat on the comp. so to put it simpler we're just like some close mates, one day she complained shes got a back problem and i politely offered a massage and she just goes eww no, u get the idea. so wat shood i do to win her heart? i lend her my mp3, helped her cook and tried a tiny bit of hinty hint but no luck

This angers me because first of all its a term that children made to express how they feel about their mothers. Second of all whats the point. These dead beats are not around so the best they can say is you can't be a father to your kids. I never thought about being a father or mother. I just tried to be the best parent I could.

Monday night my now ex boyfriend was over at my house (like every night) and was checking his email. Well, for the first time ever he checked his MySpace with me beside him and I saw there were recent messages from his ex (the chick he was still hung up on). While he was eating I went to go check my MySpace and saw he was still signed in so I checked the emails and he had emailed her Feb. 27 & 28 and told her "I love you and I always will". I was so upset that I made him come from outside into my room and I told him to sit down and shut up then I locked the door so he had no choice but to listen to what I had to say. I chewed him out saying he needed to make up his mind. I left him in there to think of what he wanted and when I came back he was like, you're telling me you went through my personal private messages and I said yes and he said it's over and walked out and left. I've been so upset but I laughed when his ex deleted him from her MS the next day so in the long run he got his.

Now he said he thinks we did it to fast, I mean i have done everything he asked. really do not know what but now he seems un-happy and its making me un-happy. i Know if i deside to move out there is a chance i will not see him as often plus he iwll go out with his friends.
