I have a close friend that is making a crucial life changing deceison,is it the right choice for him or is getting himself back into something he shouldn't?

My friend is going back into a relationship with someone who will have total control over him out of fear because she is using her own double standard about honesty.They have been apart over 6 months and she has said his punishment is over and he has learned his lesson so now she will take him back but yet she contacted me the other day asking if me and him have had any kind of relationship past friends without his knowledge.He won't even speak to me now out of fear she will find out.She has a leash and collar on him already.She left him last time with such a guilt trip it took months to get him back on track without him feeling like a loser and on the verge of a nervous breakdown and that was alright by her standards.The breakup was over him chatting with other people online when he was in things like pogo or something.He is not allowed to speak to other females what so ever.

Depends on what the "crucial, life-changing decision" is all about.
You can help him out buy giving him your opinion. Maybe that will help him gett a better view about what he's about to do.
