I'm having a hard time with understanding why guys don't talk to me anymore? I use to get dates left and right. Is it because I'm a single Mom and 28?

its not because i'm hairy or smelly. I have O.c.d when it comes to how I look. And guys tell me I'm hot. They just don't seem to want relationships.

Maybe it's all so different now that you have had a baby. It's probably been a while since you've hit the singles' scene. Maybe you need to get your energy back. Go out with the girls and have a little fun. Relax. Then when you feel your confidence returning, so will the guys. But remember, don't let yourself feel depressed if guys don't just jump when you snap. Many guys are out looking to get laid, not looking for a relationship. And you might just be the kind of woman who has "mommy" written across her forehead.

Because YOU aren't confident. How you feel about yourself shines through to others. Put on some sexy underwear (even if no one else will see it) and smile. You will feel sexy and you will exude confidence. Strut like you know how beautiful you are. Men will start to take notice. And when it rains it pours...men will start coming out of the woodwork ! You'll go through dry periods where you go months without a date, and then suddenly, you'll have more men calling you than you can handle. Remember...YOU are an incredible woman, you are a "catch", and any man would be lucky to have you. Keep that smile !!! Good luck !

I bet that's the reason! Men think dating women with kids is complex and difficult. There are not only the kids to "deal" with but the ex husband as well. There are just better options out there in a mans mind. After having met my wife and step son, I found it a much better option. She was much more together then the other women I had dated. More organized and a better partner. I think men should be more attracted to single mothers.

I don't think being a single mom makes you unwanted by men.
But may be when a man knows you are a single mom it's like having a sign over your head says "Serious relationships only".

So, being a single mom will get you fewer dates, but serious real dates, which is of course better.

Just keep your eyes open and don't try to force it. Keep your appearance up and focus on making yourself happy and providing for your kid. Sooner or later a guy will be attracted to you and you will know what to do. Just take a break and give yourself time to think of what you really want in a guy and get out to places you will meet someone you want...

If anything, I'm sure its just that you dont have the same confidence as you did before. Men can tell when youre think that you are the hottest thing in the room! The woman thinking " is this making me look fat" never draws positive attention.

if men see you with a kid they may assume you are off the market. Some other guys are worried that single moms are shopping for a dad and will get pressured to marry quickly. A child takes up so much of our time, that our conversations often revolve around them. Watch how often you mention your kid(s) in conversations with single guys. It can be as big a turn-off as constantly talking about your ex.

Sad to say but being a SINGLE MOM will do it. So many men can't or won't deal with the extra baggage.

Probably. I was a single mother for years. One thing I discovered was a guy that doesn't accept you or your child, is a blessing. Keep your child priority and a real man will admire you for this, not condem.
