My husband of almost 9 years has become obsessed with this game to the point that is what he spends all his free time doing. I don't feel I'm overreacting. I feel it is hurting our marriage.

My family, strict country music, I like MCR, Three Days Grace, stuff like that. My mom and the rest of my family would like to prefer that as "freak music". I enjoy hold my science class's pet python"snake handling "(as mom would call it) I think that Stuewart(the snake) is cute, my mom thinks I'm crazy and says I've never liked snakes and I'm just trying to "fit in", I like smakes as long as they don't pose any harm. I am natuarllay hyper and potientually ADHD(of course I'll never know because my mom won't get me tested) She says I'm hyper because I just like attention. I want to be an actoress, my mom thinks I should get my head out of the clouds and think I should consider a "real job" Is my mom right? Am I going too far? AM I over the top?

I am in love with my friend, but we live far apart. I live in Fresno, CA and she lives in Los Angeles, CA because she is my brother's friend's cousin that visits him sometimes so that's how i know her. i have a boyfriend whos 3 years older than me and im a freshman in high school. Originally i relaly tohught he liked me and we messed around a bit. when i finally got fed up with it i told him i wanted a more serious reltionship and that i was saving myself for the guy i wanted to marry. He said he doesn't know what to tihnk because that isn't what he wants. Every time we talk he says "Well there is option A. we have a serious relationship, option B. we break up, and i dont like either of those or option C. i cheat on you"
i feel like he is threatening me to do things or he will cheat or break up with me. I honestly think i love him but how do i deal with this?

I'd be interested to read what people here at Yahoo Q & A think what components or dynamics are most common as to why the state of Happy Marriages in the U.S. is so bad.

I mean, to read these posts several times over the last few weeks are so Depressing and it seems (not that I din't believe it before) that too many people aren't prepared for marriage in this country, and then Divorce is such a easy way out, and yet we talk about being the greatest country in the world.

I believe that COMMUNICATION is the most important aspect and catalyst to the chances of a good relationship and marriage, yet it seems like this is the most common trait that is lacking in almost every post. People have the guts to get married, but, they don't have the guts to talk to eachother or even know how.

I'm just curious what people think the most common problem is relationships in this country is. One would think that the amount of cheating that is posted that morals don't even exist much anymore.

My partner of 7 years and I split up over three months ago. We have a 5 year old son together and have decided to maintain our friendship. As a stipulation, because we still occasionally have sex, we agreed that if either of us became attracted to another person we would tell each other so as to not lead each other on thinking that we were still trying to get back together. Recently he left his cell phone at my place. He always locks it so I can't access it, but this time it was unlocked. Curiousity got the better of me and I browsed. I found a text message to a "just a friend" with a cartoon pic of a man kissing a girls hand with a heart on his face with a text attached saying goodnight. I know we're not together, but this still hurt me to find. He's been known to lie before when I found out about him makig advances on other woman. Should I confront him about this text message?

last night i came home and my wife said i don't get to have any food tonight. i tried to get my wallet by she blocked the door to my office where i keep it and wouldn't let me have. so i ran to the door and she almost wouldn't let me put on my shoes but i managed to escape. i shamingly went to McDonalds and bought the 99 cents meal, because it was the only thing i could afford without my wallet. then i went home and she wouldn't let me in my room and made me sleep on the porch. i got really cold and in the morning right when i woke up she made lick the dog four times. i started crying again and she made fun of me. how can i stop getting so depressed?

A female friend of my said a quote that women seem to like alot "Men are like parking spaces all the good ones are handicap or taken". My point is do women expect guys to read minds? As a guy I have to agree most men are selfish, all about themselves & sex but at the same time women don't help themselves or help guys especially the good ones try to understand what it is she wants. One minute a woman wants to be self efficent & not rely on anyone especially a man, ok makes sense. The next they want their best friend especially when times get rough as they do. Again I can see that. Still other times they want to cuddle without being sexual, makes sense. Yet other times they want to be sexual without the talking, then they want a guy to work for sex yet if a guy doesn't push for it within a few dates he's not romanticlly interested. One minute she wants the bad boy the next she doesnt. Lastly she often says she wants the good guy yet runs from one simply because he cares & no reason why.

The first time i am going to go and stay with my boyfriend and i feel so guilty about it , because the last time he visited me , we did a little bit of intimacy and i was so feeling guilty that i had done something wrong .
