I am dating a man that is 43 and i am 28. i just got out of a 10-year marriage about 5 months ago and have been seeing him for about 3 months. He is very funny, attractive and is easy to talk to. We started out as friends and turned into boyfriend and girlfriend. He stays at my house sometimes and we hang out on weekends and talk on the phone daily. I started out not wanting anything serious but have developed feelings for him and care for him deeply. He has a bad history of women breaking his heart and is very guarded and cautious. He says it will take him a while before he can show his feelings. He is scared. I understand this and am willing to wait and see what happens but am scared too cause what if i am wasting my time? He will not talk very much about relationship issues. Another part of the not showing his feelings thing. I want to be affectionate with him but he is not touchy feely and likes his space. not sure if he will come around or has anybody out there been throught this?

I told my gf today that she can't move in with my wife and I. Both my wife and my gf were none too happy with that decision. They both left me today...what a bummer! Oh well, at least I still have my sister in law on the side. How long do you think I need to wait before asking my sister in law to move in with me? Or do you think I should break down and let my girlfriend move in with me and my wife?

I am getting married in a church in my hometown. It is a small town and there aren't any nice halls to have the reception. I am having my reception in a nice place that will already be decorated but it is 40mins away. The drive to the church for guest will be anywhere from two hours to a few mins depending where they live. Then the 40 min drive from the church to the reception. What do you think about it?

My fiance and I are thinking of having a small civil ceremony since we are not religious. I do want some family to be there and I also don't want it to be in some drab courtroom. So I guess my questions are, is it ok to have a few guests and can I decorate a little? Or is it just go in and do it and get out? Please, if anyone has had a civil ceremony or has been to one please tell me what to expect! Thanks!

Well, first off I know you will think this is wrong but in my past relationships I don't trust that easily, I have been cheated on before. I came across his password and I periodically check his yahoo mail and I'M's...again I know this is wrong but I can't stop it. Last week I seen an offline IM this chick says "he will be gone to work soon and we can chat later" I didn't say anything to him about it because I have been waiting on something else. But I have not seen anyone IM's and have not yet seen and mail. We live together and we don't have a computer at home, he does not get any wierd calls at home. We also work together and can't have Yahoo IM's on our computers but you know some users do have the IM through Yahoo, this could be the only way he could be doing it, I log in through my cell phone and I checked, his is not accessible. So I stay logged on all day to his IM's because if he logs in it will bump me out but it hasn't so far. So what do you think?

I have my engagement ring, but seen a really nice ring from Tiffany I want to get (its plain without any stones). I intend to wear it on my other hand (right hand), but do you think it will take the focus off my engagement ring?

I wouldn't mind if I was married, and had a wedding band, but with just an engagement ring, I don't want to take the shine away from it....

I usually think during the engagement stage its nice just to have the engagement ring, and this be the only ring to wear... this is just my opinion, not fact.

My dad gets drunk and becomes very angry and abusive. Not really towards us girls (his daughters) but My brother and him do get into fist fights quite often and my dad beats up his girlfriend's SEVERLY. That is why my mother left him after 22 years and that is why his current girlfriend left him. We can't sit him down and have a serious conversation with him and tell him we are worried about him or afraid of him because then he will get angry again and blame it on us or tell us he is going to kill our animals or he will tell us to get out. What should I do with this situation. He is making everyone's life HELL. Thanks.

I been having a hard time with this person, she reachme after 2 years and 1/2 since we cut any kind of comunication with her...she said that she wants to start all over again and forget about the pass, she betrayedme in the pass , and , made up rummors about me also put half of the family againts me. just with her lies, now I am very confused, because even if we start all over again I am very mad that my relationship with the rest of the other familiy menbers is ruined because of her ...what iam trying to say is that even if we try to fix things the 2 of us the damage she made is bigger that that, and is kind of late I don't know what to do, I just don't know if I should give her a second chance. when she was out of my file I feel so relieve and in peace , and now she wants to be part of our lives again , she is my mother in law. my husband doesnt want to have anything to do with her , because he is even more hurt than me, he said is up to me if we include her in our lives again
