My boyfriend and I have been together two and a half years. HE tells me that he loves me and that i am his heart, but he always seems to be too busy for me, he is always with his friends, I barely get to see him, we barely see each other like once or twice a week. What do I do? How do I know if he is as serious about me, as I am him?

Well depends the type of person he is. Because my boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years and a half but he is with me 24/7. We practically live together because I sleep over every night. But thats because hes not the type of guy who likes to go out and go clubbing. He prefers to stay in and watch a movie like me. But if your boyfriend doesnt spend enough time with you, then you should definetly have a talk because 2 and a half years is a long time to be seeing each other only one or twice a week. But it also doesnt mean he doesnt love you. Good luck!

Depends on what you mean by 'serious' - do you want marriage? If so, seems he doesn't - at least right now.

If you are happy with a committed relationship then I see nothing wrong with 1x, 2x a week. You must realize sooner or later [preferably sooner] that the person you love must NOT be the end all in your life...a balanced life with friends, pursuits that are YOURS etc is necessary for a healthy coupling...seems he knows that but you don't

Men and women interpret serious two different ways.

women feel the more serious they are about someone the more time and energy is spent with and on that someone.

Men feel that serious means he has made a commitment and once your relationship is a fact, that's it. That means serious to a man. That means that part of his life is taken care of and he is free to enjoy all the other areas of his life. Understand?

Honestly, tell him that you want to spend more time with him, that is the easiest way to find out how much he cares. If he loves you as much as he says then he will start making more time for the 2 of you

The only thing I know to tell you is to ask him. Tell him exactly how serious you are about him and how you feel and ask him to do the same.

well... if a man really loves you he would prefer to be with you more than his friends. he should want to see you as often as possible. but maybe his freinds are important to him so just as him that is the only way to find out.

action always speaks louder than words
If he is putting his friends first, that is a tell-tale
sign that he isnt serious yet....things can always
change, good luck
ps always trust your instincts, if you are feeling
like something is missing or wrong, it usually is

I don't know why you aren't included in "his friends". You should be able to hang out doing stuff with him and his other friends.

Since you aren't, it doesn't sound like he is that interested in you beyond sex.

"How do I know if he is as serious about me, as I am him" You sit down and TALK with him...it's called COMMUNICATION...without it you're not as serious as you claim to be
