i live with my bf for 2 years. i'm a full time college student, and right now i do not work. he lost his job 6 months ago, and since than has done absolutely nothing to find a new one. he sleeps till 3pm every day, is not paying his bills/parking tickets, and gladly accepts money from his parents and grandfater (!). i have had numerous conversations with him about his behaviour, but he keeps telling me that things are going to get better SOON. yet, he does nothing to actually make them better. he has no ambition and no plans for the future, when i ask him where he sees himself 5 years from now, he tells me NOT TO WORRY.
i am not stupid and i realize that i do not have any future with him, and that this relationship it it just a waste of time. i want to end it, but the problem is, i still love him a lot and i can't make my self do so. every time i pack my things to move out, he begs me not to go and i unpack again. it it a vicious circle and i need help getting out of it!

I am currently a 23 year old male and I have never had a girlfriend... This makes me sad because I've wanted one since i was 16 years old. I think my primary problem is that I don't have many friends and I end up never going out because of it. Throughout college I had a fairly limited set of friends, most of which weren't the partying type. I ended up almost never partying or attending large social gatherings and spent most of my time studying and playing video games :(

But the good news is that I studied hard and was able to land a job with a 75k/year salary. Now I'm making enough money to be able to have a nice place, nice car, and have fun on the weekends, but i end up staying in because I have nobody to do anything with!

My gut feeling is that looks-wise i'm average and that it shouldn't be an issue, but i've gotten some odd results from this experiment I conducted. What i did was this: I put 3 different pictures on hotornot.com and received scores ranging between 8.3 and 9. I didn’t put much faith in these scores at first, but after examining other men who scored similarily I concluded that this score would be indicitive of a man who is probably capable of achieving dates with the opposite sex. So happy with these results, I signed up for match.com and proceeded to send “winks” to basically every girl within a 20 mile radius. The result? 100% rejection. Most rejected via not responding, but others took a step further and BLOCKED my account! All of this for a innocent “wink” saying “hi” or something tame like that… Wouldn’t the hotornot data coupled with the fact that I’ve had some interest from girls in real life mean that I should get at least 1 freaking response? Geez!

I'm 19. As of a few months ago, I used to only want to date girls because I wanted companionship and to be loved. Lately, though, my sex drive has picked up (from almost nothing to a raging beast) and now I fantasize about getting it on with girls and doing dirty things with them. I worry now that girls will think of me as pig now that I have these feelings. They used to respect me for the fact that I didn't want sex just a few months ago. I feel so ashamed and filthy. What should I do?

Well...i am 19 years old...my life seems to be in the dumps all i do is go to work and go to a community college. all i do really is hang out with my boyfriend which he is my best friend..but since high school my friends have changed and someone ditched me it feels. I recently made friends with a girl who is a nice person, but certainly not one of my close friends. The problem is, she keeps confiding all of these horribly intimate details about her life with me- and it's really begining to bug me!! She tells me about when she has her period, what sexual position she and her boyfriend used last night etc. The thing is, we've only just met!! I find it a bit overwhelming and strange that somebody you've only just met would tell you such things. I'm certianly not encouraging her, or telling her any of my private buisness, but I want her to stop trying to get so close to me so quickly. She's a nice enough person, I just find it irritating that she is doing this! How do I stop her from divulging so much and getting me involved with her private issues without being rude to her?

Hi, I'm 18. I'll be 19 in March. Let me start out by telling you my dads been fighting colone cancer for 5 years and it just hit me this year that he could die, i dunno what i would do without my dad and it would just be nice to come home to a ''lover'' that cares to hold me when i had a bad day or to make me smile. Made a very big mistake though my girlfriend was cheating on me (wanted to spend more time with this other guy drinking) but I soon found out that it was the anniversary that her brother died (something I had no idea about) and that the other dude had experienced the same thing (so the meetings were for support. So everything is lost between me and her... I still love her, and know i made a big f***ing mistanke, but I really didnt know about her brother. Have any ideas how I can make it up to her?, I am already going to send her roses and write her a nice long letter, but does anyone got anyother ideas? Ideas that are out of the the blue that she wont expect...
