like seriously what is it? Like Jayz and Beyonce for instance and this couple I just recently saw the girl looked like Penelope Cruz and the guy looked like Quasimoto. I am so confused

If you notice its only girls responding because with girls it may be more than looks but I know its defintely about looks with guys isnt it?

Looks can only take you so far. Personality and how they treat you is what really counts. when you love someone you see past looks and see whats inside them. you know people age and don't look the same as they did the day they got married. that's why i really love seeing a couple that's been married for 50 plus years holding hands and seeing the real love they have for each other. It goes way beyond looks. you can not judge a person by how they look. do not judge people. Its not fair

Can't really speak for the celebs...but generally, there are other factors to consider besides looks (which ultimately fade, often, anyway) such as personality, character, values, religious beliefs and financial stability.

Not necessarily in that order. And just like John B, said, looks is usually secondary to money. It's always been that way in my experience. I was just trying to be nice. lol

Actually, it's like this: men are intimidated by beautiful woman. I'm not trying to be politically incorrect by saying this but "uglier" guys feel like they have nothing to lose whereas a hot guy would feel badly burned by this rejection. Therefore the "uglier" guy would hit on the hot girl. Many men don't realize this but beautiful woman don't bite and many of them are down to earth.

This is nothing new. Especially if the guy is powerful or wealthy. Think of Mia Farrow and Woody Allen. Henry Kissinger and Candace Bergen.

You shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I've noticed guys that are cute are jerks when they open thier mouths and then they lose thier appeal. A guy that is not so attractive at first may be really sweet and becomes attractive after getting to know them.

What is attractive to you may not be attractive to others. It depends on the person looking. Sometimes a part of their face or facial expressions, the way they talk or the sound of their voice is enough to catch one's attention.
