we have been dating for 4yrs and i have become good friends with his family.i hear stories about how great he was with his old gfs(sending flowers at work,boxes for cards,love letters,little romantic gifts ect)in the 4 yrs we have been dating i got flowers once(with me hinting alot) and one card for my b-day with just his name signed.why is this?i don't expect expensive gifts just something to let me know hes thinking about me when i'm not with him.i do it to him all the time.i know some guys just don't do stuff like that but he allways did for his other gfs so whay not me?

I thought I heard somewhere that it is possible for 2 friends to marry, not as husband and wife, or husband and husband, or wife and wife, or whatever...but under different vows....as friends forever-until death do you part. If so, are the benefits the same as a traditional marriage? haha. I thought I heard this somewhere a while ago but I can't remember and now it's bothering me.

My sis is getting married this year in June. She's my step-sis and she's the only sister I have. I`ve always wanted to be a bridesmaid 4 her. Back in April of 2007, my sis sent me a card telling me how much she loved me and that she would always be their for me, which now I think is a lie. I've known about the wedding before my parents and my grandparents did. I`ve known for like a year now. But a few months ago, back in Nov, I found out that my sister's other step-sister who is younger than me, is the junior maid of honor or a junior bridesmaid in her wedding. And I`m nothing. I know that it is her wedding and that she can do whatever she wants, but I`m supposed to be her sister. And it makes me mad that I'm not in her wedding. My family is mad at her for other reasons right now, I don't plan 2 go 2 her wedding b/c of them and because of what she did to me. It makes me sad that I can't be in my own sis's wedding. But do u think it's nice for a girl to do that to her own sister?

I am at my Motherš house and she is playing a tape my step-father made for her and it still makes me cry - seven years on. She knows it makes me cry but I do not like to cry in front of her as it sets her off too.

He died in the same ward as I had been on just 2 days before and I had fought tooth and nail to be allowed out and I did not know he was in - until someone came from my church and told me he had died. He had cuddled me just a week before while I was in the hospital.

My real father was (still is) an abosolute pig, and I hate him. I liked, then came to love my step-father because I could talk to him about anything! We went through a lot together. He was not perfect, I realise that, but who is. We even had the same illness, I lived, he died.

Trouble is, I cannot stop crying when I think about him, and hear his voice on tape - like now. What can I do?

I have a 18 yr old son. He wants to come home. However, I am skeptical on letting him come back. He has stolen from me in the past. The last time I let him come back was a month ago. He stole some things from my boyfriend. Which he is more understanding than I am. Yet, he also stole a bracelet from me. Which I later found out that he gave it to his girlfriend. He is not on drugs(This I am sure of) I just don't understand his taking from me or others. If there is anything that he need or want I would give it to him. Now he wants to come and I do not just trust him. I have not told him that I do not want him back in my home because of his stealing. But I love my son and I do not want him to think that I do not love him but I just can't deal with the stealing. My heart is breaking over this situation.

I mean there are a lot of people out there that are funny and outgoing, and people that are shy and timid. Everybody is different, that's the way God made us. I'm not real outgoing....people have always told me that i'm very pretty but seem shy when first meeting with them. And my fiance's Mom said that I seem to be standoffish like at holiday's or get togethter's. In a way I am....I don't like socializing with a huge crowd of people. i get nervous and can't help it! But, I do talk to people and joke around. it just seems like everybody in society is too judgmental towards others. Why can't people just except a person for who they are rather than trying to change them?

I have a friend that told me and my other friend that she was fingered from a guy. Well she doesn't want the guy that she's talkin to, to find out. What should me and my other friend do. Tell the guy, who is a really good friend of my other friend, or not say anything about it. If he finds out what she did, and that we knew and never said anything to him about the whole situation, he may be mad at me and my friend for not telling him. And then we lose his friendship. But if we do tell him then it may hurt the girl who told us. What should we do.
