I mean there are a lot of people out there that are funny and outgoing, and people that are shy and timid. Everybody is different, that's the way God made us. I'm not real outgoing....people have always told me that i'm very pretty but seem shy when first meeting with them. And my fiance's Mom said that I seem to be standoffish like at holiday's or get togethter's. In a way I am....I don't like socializing with a huge crowd of people. i get nervous and can't help it! But, I do talk to people and joke around. it just seems like everybody in society is too judgmental towards others. Why can't people just except a person for who they are rather than trying to change them?

Because you will always run into people who feel you should be like them. They cant help it. I am very outgoing, but it can create problems too. Not everyone gets my sense of humor and I am prone to offend sometimes. I dont mean to but it happens.
You can politly tell them that this is the way you are and thats that. its hard to do and not appear bi??hy, but oh well.

I am exactly the same as you! I didn't think there were other people like this out there! My mother-in-law hated me when I first started going out with my husband. She thought I was a snob because I wouldn't talk to her. Now we get along okay though.
If I am somewhere without someone I know really well right by my side, I get super nervous. My hands get all sweaty and I swear that people are staring at me thinking about how much of a loser I am.
If I try to have conversations with people at parties I just sound like an idiot. At home I'm okay. I can come up with jokes and all the normal stuff, but not with people I don't know.
I used to be worse when I was younger (I'm 26 now), so it does get a little better as you get older.

this is exactly how i am, well how i used to be. as i have gotten older i have grown to be more outgoing but around crowds of people i am shy. just be yourself, and they'll get over it.

Because unlike God people aren't perfect... And some of us are ok with shy people.
