Family & Relationships - 8 February 2007

I live with my daughter & her husband. My daughter had her first child, my first grandchild. I take care of my grandbaby so they do not have to pay for day care. I spend more time with my grandchild then either parent does, I even stay up with him at night so they can sleep, I also, clean house, fix the meals, do the laundry, take out the trash, feed the dogs & do anything I can to help out. I do not mind doing these things since I have no income to contribute to bills. My problem is, I'm not allowed to voice when I feel something is wrong without being reminded I do not work. My son in-law is a slob, and he feels the only way to dicipline the dogs is to beat them! We have talked about this and I ask him to stop. He is a person who thinks he is "never" wrong! With the last dog beating, my daughter & I argued and all she said, he is my husband, so I moved out. I love my daughter & grandbaby very much, I'm afraid he will dicipline the baby the same way someday.
Am I wrong?

he is 17 and luvs the outdoors he is also a sport person like football and wrestling (just to give u and idea of what he is like)...he told me that he wants flowers sent to his school office and a stuffed animal and that all he said...but he told me that he is getting me so much and he said that he dosent want nething else but i'm going to feel bad if that is all i get him

Im 22 yrs old and i hate to admit but i still live with my dad its not so bad until he interferes with my love life , My dad is gay and i have aceppt that its cool with me no matter what he is still a good dad to me , until i come to find out that he has a crush on the guy i like . Crazy i know ! I never thought that i would have to go though this with my own dad but i am . The guy i like doesnt know about this i dont want to freak him out and i dont want him out of my life because of my dad so i fight with my dad about it and it has got to the point to where i cant live with him anymore but i dont want this to happen because if i move ill lose everything plus the guy i truley care about... i dunno what to do.

My mother is pretending like I don't exist. I am 18 years old and I really do miss talking to my mom. She got mad at me because I am doing better than she is when she was my age and now I heard she is jealous and wants nothing to do with me what should I do to get my mom to start talking to me she is also keeping me away from my 8 year old brother who is down syndrome and keeps asking about me according to my relatives. You see Ugly or overweight dudes with decent lookin gals all the time....
but you hardly ever see a Good lookin dude with an ugly or overwieght girl...

it leads back too ..Girls are attracted to guys more in an emotional way..and Guys are attracted to girls more in a sexual way..

to be more specific. me and my friends are planning the limousine arrangements for prom.. these two girl who are our 'friends' want to rent a normal SUV while we already planned on renting a navigator limousine. they want to split the cost of both so they can switch back and forth. in your opinion, is that fair? or are me and the rest of my friends just crazy. also, the two rentals would be from different companies. i dont even know if theyd allow that.

Me and this guy went out for a year on and off. I go to his church on wednesdays because i enjoy it. it has become hard for me because he doesnt say hey to me anymore or even acknowlege me but when he happens to look at me i see the love he has for me in his eyes. ALSO i have to give up hanging out with his family which has pretty much become mine. i dont want to do things that are going to hurt him because i care about him. I love the boy to death. what should i do???

I have been with my bf for 2 years(lived together for 1.5 yrs) and I moved across the country w/him because of his job. His job is now sending him BACK to where we are from, which we just found out. We talk about getting married and he always tells me that I am the one for him. I really want a commitment with all of this moving around the country that we are doing, but he keeps saying that he doesn't feel like there is any rush. I decided that I am going to move back to our state a few months ahead of him so that we can have a little time apart and so that I can find a job and have a little time to myself. He is very against this and does not want me to leave, but frankly I feel that everything has been all about him up to this point and now it is time for me to pursue my own wants and needs. Its not like we are married or even engaged for that matter, so I feel that he doesn't have a lot of say in this matter. I will be there for him when he arrives 3 months later. Any thoughts?

He never did anything to help me with her. He's always been dodging me. I feel that if he wanted to be in her life more he shouldn't of had tried to control mine. He left me harassing voicemails, which lead to a Order of protection. I now have a two year order... But he did want visitation. I don't want his money after two years you wanted to bring up the fact that you want to see her. She doesn't know him or his family. I am afraid that something will happen. He was engaged when we got together which he lied to me then. When my daughter was born his family didn't want him to reconize her or put his last name. He did but i wouldn't hear from him...only when he wanted to visit me. After i got tired and moved on with my life he decides that he wants to be apart of her life. Which by then to me was to late. He was jealous that i moved on. He doesn't want my daughter to know any other man but he hurt me and left me to do everything alone.
