there is this girl that is my really good friend but i like her my friends say she likes me because she laughs alot around me and always talks to me and her cheeks get kinda red around me but i am not shure i was thinking about asking her to the valentines dance but she says she likes this other guy and i dont want to look like an idot and skrew up owur friendship what shuld i do

Ask her...she def. likes you....she probably made up this other guy to see if you would step in...don't be scared...it won't ruin your friendship just be honest. If she does say no then tell her okay well then help me find a date because I am not going alone. Just ask her!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, it is often risky to be vulnerable to another person because it is not known whether they will respond positively or negatively in "our" favor. The reason I say this is because asking certain questions open a side of us that "we" might not regularly make known to others.
Ask this girl if she is interested in you, and if not though it may hurt you will know the truth. If the answer is yes, then ask her to the dance as well.
Sometimes nonverbal reactions (laughing alot, cheeks getting kinda red) or assuming anything can be dangerous it is better in most cases to know the truth about the matter.

If you guys are really as good friends as you say you are, then it shouldn't matter if she turns you down to go to the Valentines dance. I would ask her and take it from there. If she says yes, then great, if not, then just say "ok" and move on.

Honestly there is no harm in asking just say : Hey you wanna go to the dance with me? The worst she can say is no. She is not going to not want to be your friend anymore. Just ask her. She also might be lying about liking the other guy 2. Just go for it !

Ask her is she's going with anyone...if not there is your opportunity..say that you dont have a date and would like to take her as friends cuz it would be a good time.. You say she laughs around you already...so just go for it..you'll never know unless you try

well if you dont know who she likes....but she hasnt been asked to this dance yet.....you should ask her and be like we should just go to the dance as friends will have such a good time. And then who knows maybe that will spark something between you two.

just tell her the truth ask her for the dance... and if she feels weird.. just tell her that even if she doesn't accept u will appreciate to stay like friends
