to be more specific. me and my friends are planning the limousine arrangements for prom.. these two girl who are our 'friends' want to rent a normal SUV while we already planned on renting a navigator limousine. they want to split the cost of both so they can switch back and forth. in your opinion, is that fair? or are me and the rest of my friends just crazy. also, the two rentals would be from different companies. i dont even know if theyd allow that.

Me and my friends got a limo to our prom also, it's far better. tell your friend it's a one off experience, you'll never have another oportunity to go to your prom so why not do it in style. it is a bit expensive but well worth it. if they still wanna get a SUV tell them you'll meet them there and get some other people to share the limo with you.

Go on, stand your ground the limo is a well better option!

:D

I would not be surprised if you were not allowed to do that under the contract. Other the suggestion of 'tossing the coin' and which group wins you all agree to do the side of the coin that wins - with no regrets or bickering - enjoy your Prom they are fab!

Do as you want. Don't mean to be hurtful but the whole question comes over as really childish that you are 'splitting hairs' over this.

I like Jack Sprat's technique on this one. Reply to your question get 2 points and not answer your question at all.

I am thinking I might try this one myself some time !!!

Thanks Jack

if you are splitting the cost of both, how would it not be fair.
It depends whether you want to share??
