Why does he demand hugs from me every 10 minutes and ask to hang out every day. After dating him for a month, he told me "your not the one for me". His excuse for us not being together anymore was "your not the person i thought you were, you've changed". But the thing is, I haven't. Before we broke up, we fought frequently and I believe i have been put in situations where I can't be the most agreeable person. I've known this person for about half a year and he seems decent but I can't help but to think that he's being a little selfish and controlling. We used to fight over little things like how i would put my shoe up on the dashboard of his car and getting mad and leaving his house without saying goodbye. He thinks that we are uncompatible. I still have feelings for him. How can convince him that we aren't? I'm so confused, what does he want from me? Am i some kind of safety blanket?

If a man really fancies you but sees you in a very professional capacity, will things develop anyway if both are sending flirting signals? If you keep getting closer each time you see each other is it just a foregone conclusion for him to tell you he likes you or do something physical? Or would he most likely wait for her to do something? Anybody been in this situation of having strong feelings for someone in this way? If so how did it turn out? As someone suggested before, do the hormones win out in the end?

I asked a girl out; she said she wasnt ready. BUT we talk all the time, tell each other things i dont tell other friends, flirt a LOT, etc. She's getting over a bad breakup followed by a huge disappointment with one of her best friends and feels extremely vulnerable. Maybe all our communication is still within the realm of friends, but I can't help but feel like it's a special connection. Do I need to just content myself with waiting for her to come around, and what if she doesn't ever feel like taking that risk? I've never had a problem being the one out there, but I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable anymore if she's not ready to accept me. Any ideas on how to tell when it's ok to try again?

My friend is mad at me because I wont let my boyfriend pick her up and take her to her boyfriends house. I cant see him because I am sick and I dont need to be out the house. I am just a little concerned because within 2 days afta i introduced them she ran away from home and asked him to take her to her boyfriends house. I thought she could have atleast called and asked me about it first. I found out because he asked me should he go do it. Now two weeks later she is calling him asking him again. I told her to stop calling my man so much. Even after I told her this she beeped in while I was on the phone with him.

I told her to stop calling him once again, and I told him not to go get her. She calls him more than I do. I know she dosent want him, thats my bff and I know she wouldnt do anything like that. Ive known her too long. I trust her. I guess i just dont know why she has to call him so much. She has other friends and maybe her bf should find her a ride.

Hi, I'm looking to see if there is a quote that is similar to this New Jersey quote, but for Westchester County. Thanks!!---
"I am from NJ. I curse... a lot. I say "yo", and I say it often. I never had school on Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur. I sure as hell don't pump my own gas. I know what real pizza tastes like, and I know that a bagel is much more than a ******' roll with a hole in the middle. I judge people by what exit they get off the parkway. I can navigate a circle--with attitude. All good nights must end at a diner--preferably with cheese fries. It's a sub, not a hoagie or, worse yet, a hero, and I wash it down with soda, not pop. Two words... "mother ******." I don't go to the beach, I go down the shore. And boardwalk brawls are just a part of the atmosphere. Yes, I drink cawfee. I know that 65mph really means 80. I've always lived within 10 minutes of a mall. When someone cuts me off, they get the horn AND the finger. And they expect it. I am from New Jersey, and damn proud

For all the single people out there who have dating or currently are - I am finding my current one to be extremely frustrating at times, and while I believe he has many great qualities and is a genuine nice guy, why do I feel like I would be settling with him because he is not the greatest at communication and he is not that affectionate at times (2 qualities I really want in a guy). To me, communication is extremely important, and he said he would work on that one. But he said he is not a "romantic" kind of guy, so would I just be settling if I know that this is not how he is? I hate to throw away such a nice guy, but I guess simple things like holding hands in public or showing that you are with and really like the other person are important to me.....So to single people out there, tell me your experiences and how you have learned when it is time to leave a relationship that while good, is not ideal....

My 15 year old son and I got into a fight a couple of nights ago. His ex girlfriend (gf) had been hanging out with his new gf and she (the ex) told the new one a bunch of stuff about her and and my son. The new gf went back to my son and told her everything she had said. Then, my son was so upest about it because he felt the old gf was trying to break up his new relationship. He and his gf told me about this and I became irritated with the new gf because I felt it was poor judgement on her part to tell my son everything the ex gf had said especially considering we all know she is dishonest most of the time. My son became angry with me because he felt I was blaming his new gf for the mess and I said that it could have been avoided if only she had stopped the ex right away from even talking about my son. Now, my son doesn't want to talk to me at all and neither does his gf.
