I asked a girl out; she said she wasnt ready. BUT we talk all the time, tell each other things i dont tell other friends, flirt a LOT, etc. She's getting over a bad breakup followed by a huge disappointment with one of her best friends and feels extremely vulnerable. Maybe all our communication is still within the realm of friends, but I can't help but feel like it's a special connection. Do I need to just content myself with waiting for her to come around, and what if she doesn't ever feel like taking that risk? I've never had a problem being the one out there, but I don't want to make her feel uncomfortable anymore if she's not ready to accept me. Any ideas on how to tell when it's ok to try again?

If she just said she wans't ready, then it seems like she just wasn't ready- she doesn't seem to have a problem with you, anyways. You should wait to ask her again until you seem to be getting a whole lot more positive 'signals' then usual; I.E. she's flirting more then usual (or more then she has been) and been really touchy with you.

i would wait till she starts giving you signs like flirting with you.
if she continues to flirt and doesnt do anything about it, ask her out again. it couldnt hurt.

if she just keeps things the same with you, shes not ready for a relationship stilll and just leave it alone.

Maybe you should just tell her to let you know when she is ready. Let her know how you feel about all of it, and that you won't bring it up again unitl she lets you know when it will be good timing.

Try and wait for her. She just broke up with someone she need's time to heal.Plus, you don't want to be her rebound guy.

From a female's view-be her friend and see what happens.Sometimes 'no' means not right now-i hurt.Sometimes 'no' means i like you but am not ready.
