I dont understand why some guys never think of doing right by there familys but as soon as they get locked up for what ever reason they decide they want to be apart of the family now how fair is that ?

Hey!I like this guy very,very much!!!We go to school together,he's a year older than me!He's watchin me for4 months,and I'm watching him too....But it's starting to get boring,all of my friends told me that he likes me,and that i SHOULD DO SOMETHIM,but I don't have any plan how to talk to him or something.....he's very shy and I don't thing that he's going to do something very soon.....We talked once,but he was to shy even to look into my eyes...do you have some plan????Please help!!!!

Guy Question?
im in 9th grade and the guy i like is in 10th. hes so adorable and funny and he is just great all around. one of my friends who happens to be his best friend told me that he thought i was really cute. so i would stop by his locker to talk to him as we walked to the bus and he would say hi to me in the halls and stuff. we would talk online myspace for hours till i had to delete my profile because of my parents. last night i talked to him for 3 hours (9-12). Ive never felt so happy as i do when i talk to him. I know i like him, ALOT, but im not sure if he likes me. what do you all think? and what can i do to make him think im interested in him and make him interested in me? i need help!

been dating this guy for a month now and all is good so far.. i mean he's considerate, reliable, helpful and somebody i could talk to! he also very honest and a bit critical sometimes... all in all he's cool, but he said something that bothered me last week... he said if you're looking for love in NY, you're looking to get hurt, and the best thing to do is get a puppy because a puppy won't lie to you! he then contradicted his statemented by saying if you love me, i'll love you back, huh? i'm 26 and don't want to waste my time on somebody who doesn't believe in love.. i've also been hurt by love in the past.. but don't say it doesn't exist... he's a nice guy, but i'm wondering if am wasting my time.. what do you guys think?

This is just a general question about single mothers and would like some feedback. When you marry a single mother, can they ever love their husband as #1 or will their children always come first? It seems a lot of single mothers can’t break that attachment from their kids to love their husbands and not think of them and their kids first and really be committed to the marriage. In a marriage without kids at first it seems that the husband and wife always put each other first and the kids are just a by product of the love and the kids aren’t #1. I’ve noticed with a lot of women that are single mothers, they can’t put their husbands first. I’m not saying all of them but I’ve noticed that a lot of them do. In general why is this and do they know that they are missing out on a more important love than the one they have with their kids? It also seems like they are teaching the kids that loving children is more important than loving another adult. Seems wrong and it seems like it sends the wrong message to the kids that they are more important than anything including love between 2 adults. Also seems like it possibly could contribute to the divorce rate when these kids grow up thinking that the love they have for their spouse shouldn’t always be put first. For the record there is nothing wrong with being a single mother and it’s tough (mine was) but it sometimes seems to foster unbalanced kids whose expectations about marriage and love is a little screwed up. For instance, when I grew up it took me a while to figure out your spouse should come first given my environment growing up with just my mother.

Over 50% of women are now not getting married for the first time. A few years ago, children born outside wedlock exceeded 50%. Are we headed toward a marriage free society, in which men and women are no longer interested in that type of commitment? How will this affect any children having access to their fathers? Only two states, California and Arizona have any laws with a presumption that single fathers have any rights to their children. All are presumed to have a financial obligation, but nothing more. Is this in any way related to the growing difference between the number of women and the number of living and breathing men?

Me and my boyfriend Mark has been broken up for about 4 months now. Im 14 about 2 be 15. Im in a new realtionship with a new guy Chaz. But i havent had sex with the new boyfriend yet. I have married into what I suppose you would call a "non-practicing Catholic family". I am a Baptist.My step-children and niece have God parents. I thought I'd heard somewhere that God parents were responsible for the children's religious upbringing. My husband said he'd never heard of that, that the God parents were to take the children in the event of the parent's death-that was the purpose.Also,the kids call the God father a French sounding name,that begins with a P, but they call the God mother "Nanny", which to me, sounds like a goat, or a redneck grandmother. So,my question is,what are the duties of God parents, and what are the names to call them?
