The best kind of gift to offer someone you really like or love is a gift from the heart. Tell them something that will mean alot to them or make them something by hand that they will cherish greatly!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, don't know if this is a guy or girl, so some of these might seem to fem or masc, but here goes:
1. make them dinner
2. stroll down memory lane with them
3. give them an "I O U" of anything like: "one dinner of your fave foods," "use my car twice on date," "one movie pass," "one makeover provided by me," "use of my tools at anytime for 2months." People consider these things kind of fun.
You could also do something for them like laundry, etc.
Send them an email/letter of appreciation for their friendship.
If they have not seen fam in awhile, try and get them to come and see that friend.
Find someone who they might have been desiring to speak to and see if they can call them.
If friend listens ot music, make a request on radio and dedicate favorite song to friend for Birthday.
Leave message at desk or on phone of great wishes.
Let them use something of yours that they have always liked, as long as it is not your boyfriend, of course.
Best wishes to your friend for a great B-day.

When I get in that position, I make them something. It can be just a card, or just make something cute.
If its for a boy, hmm, give him smoething of yours that you dont want? haha, boys are toughies to shop for.

a massage "coupon" and IOU to clean their car, house, babysit their kids (if applicable) Whatever the person needs.
