At a high level, a good husband should:
Love her more than your own life. Be willling to make any sacrifice for her.
She is unique (as we all are). So, he must come to really understand who she is (her needs, wants, insecurities, emotions, etc.) and treat her accordingly.
Be patient and a good forgiver (she ain't perfect).
Have heart to heart communication and always show her affection and appreciation.

I expect my husband not to abuse, lie, cheat, or steal from me and other people in the world. I expect my husband to be respectful to everyone, but firm with his convictions when necessary. I expect my husband to be open minded and learn from new experiences and ideas. I expect my husband to help provide for his family. I expect my husband to be a decent human being and an asset to the community. That is what I expect.
I am willing to be and do those things too.

I expect my husband to be respectful, responsible and a good provider. The expectations I have of myself as a wife include standing by my husband through thick and thin, being loyal and supportive, and looking after him.

I have been married 20 years and got married at a young age and trust me we have been through some sh** but as long as you respect each other and understand each other wants and desires things. In the beginning of my marriage being so young things are sometimes his way or no way or vise versa, but you have to meet each other half way in all matters or you will never make I looked for a person to share half the responsiblity with me and house work I wanted a man that would do house work and not look at it like thats a womans job... I lucked out with that he cooks cleans does laundry, thats what i would look for "someone to SHARE my life with in everyway". good luck

I experct my husband to love me and consider my feelings, to stick by me and to be there for me when I need him. I expect him to make sure that I know he loves me but I also expect him to fall short sometimes because he's great but he's not perfect. I think he expects the same from me

I think I'll send this ? to my wife, because it seems that everything that I'm doing is probably just one big joke for her and her friends to laugh and joke about. She actually said something to me that made me cry the other night. What I thought was a censer apology turned out to be a bull sh*t one she just made up.
