I don't know if folks are saying they are perfect when they question the questions.

It's hard to understand folks who would choose to have an affair or date a partner who is married to another.

Many practice the "follow your heart" school of thought, with no apparent consideration of facts. Many of these folks come crying to the board here saying, my married boyfriend will not leave his wife and kids for me, boo hoo.

It seems that 10 seconds of thought about such a situation before getting into it, or say upon finding out that he is married could save a whole lot of heartache.

This is just one glaring example I see played out here time and time again.

Those of us who question such folks don't consider ourselves perfect, well at least I don't. I admit, I don't understand the line of thinking that allows such a person to totally miss the fact that if they cheated to be with you, then they are probably more likely to do it TO you too.

Is such thinking being perfect, or being practical.

I say practical.

none of us on here are perfect or close to it but that does not mean that we don,t have and opinion on different subjects it,s good to see how other people view what we do or our thoughts I know I,m wrong all the time and I like it when other people that I don,t know set me straight then if I have offended someone I can go to them and make amends for it

the answers come from people who've experienced life, dear. the people who ask for answers are not seeking perfection...theyre seeking 'from experience, knowledge'.
most people who you might consider perfect havent led very 'experienced' lives, now can they? Perfect would be a 'babe' ...and what knowledge does a baby have? duh
