Today I just found out that my friend ( overseas) got engaged and will be getting married in June of this year. I am so excited for her. She also told me she "did not bother to ask me to be a bride's maid because she knew that I was not gonna come" to the wedding. Yet still she is desperately trying to find another friend whom she wants her to be her maid of honour. I don't know what to do. I am happy for her but I feel a bit hurt because I thought we were closer. I even spent some time with her over the christmas holidays. Do you think I am being too sensitive?

Honestly, I was really looking forward to this because I knew sooner or later her boyfriend was gonna ask her. Knowing how close (I thought) we were. I would have definitely made a sacrifice.

I got a girl's number today but in all the movies/shoes etc. etc. usually say to wait a day or whatever. I really like this girl and she is into me too, but I don't know if I should call. We've been together 11 months, which is a long time, yet sometimes it seems as if she's embarrassed to tell people I'm her boyfriend.

We were out with some friends of her parents and she seems uncomfortable when I put my arm around her. She seems embarrassed. Also, a 12 year old kid at the dinner table asked her "Is he your boyfriend?." My girlfriend says "Noooooo."

I'm just a bit bothered by it. We love each other very much, but I would never deny her like she does. Why do you think she's embarrassed or acts the way that she does? I'm confused.

Him and I have been dating since October of 2006. We have had such a wonderful relationship, and when I found this out I was angry, upset, hurt and concerned. Mainly because he lied to me about the whole situation. I had asked him when we first met whether or not he was married. He told me that he was divorced. I am not sure what to do...I have strong feelings for him and we enjoy each others company. Please help me with how I should go about the "issue."

I was born in upstate New York, but I have no idea what hospital. Probably was in Canandaigua or Rochester, NY. My parents and grandparents aren't around anymore to tell me.

Any idea how I could find out? Preferably for free? I don't want to have to pay some service for searching public records.

its this new kid in the neighborhood. i've been wanting to talk to him for a while but i get nervous. we go to the same high school and we ride the same bus. and one of my bestfriends told everyone on the bus that i liked him. i had just found out that he likes me too and that he thinks im cute. so n~e~ways i get on the bus today and i just sit in the seat! then the boy gets on the bus and my friend laura pushes him down in the seat with me! then taylor took his bookbag and my bookbag and told us to scoot closer together! we had a chance to talk but we didnt! all we did was smile! everyone was like get her #! but we were so shy so my friend junior looked in his phone and gave it to the boy! and then laura was like are you going to call her and he nodded his head yes! then they made us hug each other when it was his time to get off the bus! man tomorrow hes going to get on the bus and i want to say something but i get nervous! help♥

This boy that I don't even know asked me out in 6th period. I am very very bad with names, and I already forgot his. His friend asked me out for him, and said that he really likes me. She brought a note from him that said, "I've had my eye on you.. blah blah blah.. will you go out with me?" I'm not th' note passing sorta peron, so I told her that he should ask me out himself. She said he is really scared, and wants an answer. Then his other friend came over and said, "Well?!" "He really wants to know!" ok, here's the deal.... Im 15 and have always gotten PERFECT A+ grades. Im first in my class of over 300. the thing is, im SO sick of people just seeing me as smart. i hardly have any friends that are really friends because everyone just uses me to help them with school work. ive never had a guy ask me out becuase they don't see me as anything but smart. i never get invited to do anything because that's all people see in me. I am 22 and i have 2 children with this guy that my family hates. he broke up with me when i was 4 months pregnant with our 2nd baby. my family was thrilled that he was gone. recently
i agreed to take him back and give him a 2nd chance. i haven't told anyone at all yet, because i know they'll all be upset. i don't know how i should break it to them. also, i'm not entirely sure that everything is going to work out with him and me. i want to be sure that he really has changed.

ive told guys that i want to wait till i find love to have sex...is that a stupid reason? im 17, a girl,thin,weigh 125,5"7" and really pretty. ive made it clear that i want to wait.
