I think that it is a possability that he might like you and wants to ask you out for real but is too scared to acually ack you out. My best suggestion is next time he does that actually say yes, say yes I will go out with you on the date, or something like that and see what he does, and if you want you could turn it into a joke on him if you need too.

I actually think he likes you. I think hes asking you out then saying "just kidding" cause his probably insecure and thinks your gonna say no or something. And he wouldn't be asking you about who you like if he didn't care, and then telling you who he "likes" is too see your reaction....totally likes you.
But hes being an immature nag doing all that. Guys have no balls :)

Ask him not to joke like that, and that believe it or not he is hurting your feelings. If he doesn't get the message after saying that, it's a no brainer... don't ever take this guy seriously if he doesn't take you seriously. You'll only risk your heart to a fool.

I think he is too afraid of rejection. The next time he says he is joking tell him you are not kidding. Maybe he will follow through.

If he asks you who you like tell him "you"

he sounds way to immature to have a relationship with anyone. he either likes u or is playing some cruel joke on u.best not to put any faith in a boy like this, too immature.

He says it's a joke so that if he were to be rejected, he has that to fall back on. I used to do that crazy stuff when I was little. He likes you, but he's afraid of being rejected... that's all.

I think this guy is scared that you may reject his invitation. Or maybe his just being a guy when people are around you. I would just play along and see where it leads yah.

He might be like really insecure and doesn't want to tell you directly about his feelings. I think you should take the risk and tell him your feelings and see what he sas. If he, well, rejects you then move on; there'll be other guys. Think about what you want to do and choose wisely.
Good luck
