This boy that I don't even know asked me out in 6th period. I am very very bad with names, and I already forgot his. His friend asked me out for him, and said that he really likes me. She brought a note from him that said, "I've had my eye on you.. blah blah blah.. will you go out with me?" I'm not th' note passing sorta peron, so I told her that he should ask me out himself. She said he is really scared, and wants an answer. Then his other friend came over and said, "Well?!" "He really wants to know!" I told them I would talk to him tomorrow, and I don't know what to do.

Make him approach you. If you are pressed by his friends, say that you don't even know him and can't decide unless you can talk to him face-to-face. If that doesn't work, forget it. I'd just forget it anyway....sounds too juvenile for me

well at least he built up the guts to write you a note you got to give him credit for that. But it would of been a lot nicer if he built up the courage to hand it to you in person. But guys are funny that way they are afraid of rejection so alot of times they wont even do anything about it, at least you got a note.
if your intrested in him write him a note let him know that you would like to get to know him and invite him to meet you somewhere, go for a walk, go for a beverage somewhere,what ever suits you for your age. Tell him that you will answer his question about being boyfriend girlfriend after you get to know him a little better, oh yeah and hand the note to him personally and give him a smile.

You could except, with the condition that it be in a very public place. Then talk and just get to know each other before you commit to a real date.

Just tell him to talk to you more before you make up your mind... one of my friends was asked out by someone she never even talked to, and it turned out that they were going out on a very, ah, nice, relationship for about 6 months...

you need to meet him first in parties or with other friends for example going as a group to cinema. After a while you can get closer and have a date.

If you like someone else, say no. If you don't like someone else, say yes. You never know what he'll be like. If it doesn't work out just tell him that. I would also suggest figuring out his name and writing it on your hand so you can discreetly refer to it in case you forget.
