This guy i know has suddenly been acting strange around me and i don't really know why. he asks me to have dinner with him, pays for my ticket and everything at movies, has started talking to me about love and soulmate stuff and asks me if i'd like to look at stars with him..lol
does he like me or something? I can't really tell because he doesn't compliment me or do any of that stuff. i'm kind of confused, i mean how does he want me to respond

there is this guy ive known for awhile, we had become really good friends and even hung out quite a bit. Well we ended up fooling around and i thought he had just used me because he said he would call me and i hadnt heard from him. Well i sent him a message telling him how much of an jerk he was for taking advantage of me, the only thing is he has called me since then but im being stubborn and wont talk to him. well he said that i hurt him for calling him all the nasty names i did and by not answering his call. so should i say that he is playing me and leave it alone or should i try to go for something with him.

Tough situation, girl seems to have fallen in love with me this summer while we were working together, I ignored her advances because I was her boss, but I was never mean to her. I had been talking to my crush before Christmas break and he really seemed to like me. He was nice and I enjoyed talking to him. But after break he sort of started avoiding me. One day I went up to him and asked him if he had email..he said he didn`t..so I went farther and asked him if he wanted to get together or exchange phone numbers and he replied "I don`t know..." like he didn`t want to. My mind is mixed up with thoughts. Part of me is obessing on how I regret losing my virginity to someone I barely knew. Theres another part leaning into thinking of my ex & I how I wanted to lose it to him & starting to want him back a little. I swore to God for years I was waiting until my honeymoon to lose my virginity. He got me horny when we were makingout. When I dated my ex I imagined us losing it together. I hear this other is blabbing. I THOUGHT he was a good guy. Also, a new guy friend I made kind of likes me & I don't feel like that. If I hang around him I rather like it to be with the friend I met him through. Ive already did a little just us. Im so confused. Is there anything I can do? My best friend is having trouble with her family.
She lives with her mother and three half siblings ages 11, 9, and 6. She is 14.

She is constantly being beaten up by her 11 year old brother. Not in the normal ways. He usually smacks her with books, punches her in the breasts, verbally abuses her, and now hits her on the head with Swiffer mops. Sometimes, when he is really angry, he will brandish a knife, but he puts it away when my friend threatens to call the police.

He gets angry over the smallest things- for example, my friend was on the computer and he demanded that it was his turn. When she said no, he smacked her with a book until she cried. Whenever my friend talks to her mom about this horrible problem, her mom tells her to fight her own battles.

Any advice for her? She sitting next to me and really wants advice. She hates being home with these people. Her other siblings are amazing, but her 11 year old brother makes her home life hell.

My friend died on Friday morning. I did not know until Friday night when my brother told me. I am very upset because he was the last friend I had left. I have no other friends to go to or hang out with. I already see a counselor, but we meet only once a month. She told me to make a friend, and I made friends with James and now he is dead. He was only 24 years old. 24 year olds aren't supposed to die! What do I do? I am trying to write a sympathy card to his father and mother, but I don't know how to put into words what I am feeling. My best friend has been using hard drugs for a while now- heroin, cocaine and various different pills. She means a lot to me, and she's beginning to get worried about her own usage. I can't control what she does, obviously, but I don't know what to do to help. I don't want to lose her to this. She told me that she had been high on cocaine last night, and when she woke up, she could barely walk and she went into the bathroom thinking she was going outside. She also claims that she felt like her body was dying. She insists that she isn't addicted, but she also tells me that she's not sure she can stop using them. I hate it that she's doing this to herself, but I know that I can't control what she does. The fact that she's worried about herself is alarming, but I just don't know what to do. I value her and her friendship, and I would really hate to lose her. Last I checked, she doesn't want to stop using them. I'm beginning to feel like a lousy friend. Please help.

So I have known this guy for about a year, and we both really like each other. He is one of my best friends, and he is also my first love. I'm trying to cut down my wedding list but I put +1 for lots of people but some of them, i'd prefer if they didn't bring a guest.
