My boyfriend proposed to me Christmas. He is in the Navy. I graduate from college in May 2008. I wanted to get married in August 2008 before Law school. My family keeps saying after law school...but gosh thats a whole 2-3 years later....My fiance will be fine with whatever, but I just dont want to make my family upset. They think it will mess up my career thinking I wont go to law school if I get married before. What do you think I should do?

They are very caring animals. Strong and sure,
but loving... and easy on the eyes ;-)

To the poster Jacky, im not 12, I happen to be 33 and if you don't like my posts, don't read them !
Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that materialistic people are sincerely the most Insecure. They realize their "posessions" don't bring them happiness. Sometimes it's too late though, and they are miserable on a daily basis.

My boyfriend sometimes talks about his ex girlfriend....ok he talks about her a lot and I am nervous because I look a lot like her. I was just wondering if you women out there were completely turned off by huge guys. I don't mean fat, I mean huge. I am a 26 year old guy that's 6 foot 8 inches tall, and about 260 lbs. I seem to have a hard time meeting women that are attracted to guys of my size. I know that I'm not the best looking guy in the world, but I also know that I'm not ugly. Do women prefer smaller men, or am I just not looking in the right places? If that's the case, where would be a good place for me to start looking?

i have put similar quastions before too, but m feeling so lonely at d moment and there is nobody i can talk to, so i m writing here. m married for the last 10 months. my husband is nice...i have moved to a new city after marriage tht is 1500km away. i have left all my family and frends behind. & now m totally lonely here. m also unable to get a good job here. so all day m at home. cooking looking after my husbands family. i have always been a career girl. now m lost, my husband has lots of freinds so he spends a lot of time with them, if not alone with them then with me along..he takes me along say 20% of the time.even calling my friends or family is not easy coz calling long distance does take a lot of money.and i kno ppl will say make new frends, but it aint easy. i dont make freinds easily, i have to kno a person for a few years before i can b real friends. moreover this city has a diff language &i dont understand a word. can any1 understand how i feel? can sum1 help witout judging?

Life's too short, no one cares about your car, house, how many kids ya got, money, diamonds, degrees, your perm, your nails, your motorcycle, your vacation house, your jewelery, your new ipod, your fendi bag, your pet chihuaha, your laptop, your stupid window treatments, your muscles, your tattoos, etc etc etc.......

People need to wake up and smell the friggin roses. Life is about appreciating the smaller things like walking on a beach, sitting by a waterfall, taking long drives to nowhere, dancing in the moonight with your chick, or dancing in the rain.

Im not jealous of anyone's "things" I am just making a point that we as humans are moving too fast, and it seems like we're all burning out to compete, I for one am not, I do the things in life that don't cost anything like the ones I mention above

TIME TO SLOW DOWN PEOPLE, RELAX. BE YOURSELF BE HAPPY WITH WHATEVER GOD GAVE YOU. REMEMBER HEALTH COMES FIRST.

We have a 2 yr old, she is the custodial parent. I love my boy very much, and have court ordered visitation, and first right of refusal. The problem is she is constantly saying "HE IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" If I inquire about his doctor appointment, or where she left him for the weekend (when he should be with me). She will hide him over at her Mothers, and she just loves telling me the same. I took my boy to get a hair cut yesterday, and my ex asked who cut his hair. I didn't tell her "none of your business", instead I said nothing at all. She is now going crazy, demanding I reveal this information. I think this is really minor compared to what she has put me through. I actually think it is her business, but I couldn't help myself giving some of her bullshit back. Do I need to tell her?

She has a net friend, and she has started loving him! No matter how much she tries, thoughts of him keep her mind busy and this has started taking a toll on her personal and professional life. Her net friend seems like a decent chap, but doesn't seem to feel the same for her as she does for him..Its been 5 months and I think she needs to come out of this imaginary world. But don't know how to persuade her to come back to reality. What to do about this guy?Can anyone actually fall in love with someone they've never met?!! This happened to me. What happened was she spen the night at our house. I went to the kitchen to get some water and she was there. She grabbed me and said she had something to show me in the other room. You know what happened next. She is very attractive which helped me make the decision to share my tongue. I am very high matenience and have been very selfish lately. My husband is soooo nice and he lets me get away with it alot. But even he has his limits and I feel really bad. He believes I don't appreciate what he does for me and our 2 children (2 yr old and a 6 month old).

The reason why he is picking up so much slack is b/c I am suffering from post-partun depression. Our 6 month old is not sleeping through the night. I am exhausted. On top of htat, right now, my 2 yr old has pnuemonia, my 6 month old has bronchitis and I have bronchitis/border-line pneumonia. Now my husband is getting sick too as he has been staying up all night with the baby so I can get sleep.

And I am so grumpy with him and expect him to do everything for me! So evil.

So, what can I do for him that would show my appreciation? No sex stuff...I am sick. And we have little money to spare right now.

THe obvious answer is to change my attitude and I am trying. What else could I do? Some grand gesture?

this not a riddle. I just want to know what people consider me. I have always described myself as a loser, geek, and sometimes even a nerd. For starters I like anime. I have gone to a convention and even dressed up as a character from naruto. I have made animated music videos (amv's for those that know it). I also watch star trek sometimes. Pretty much any of them. I am also a bit of a starwars fan. I some times read non fiction books to saticfy my curiousity. I also draw, write stories, come up with various ideas and concepts, and play video games. I have only been on 2 dates and never had a girlfriend. Didnt lose my virginity till age 24. First time I have kissed a girl was as stripper I think at age 22. I dont like to drink alchol, going to bars, or be in crowded places for too long. I dont have any real friends outside of the one that doesnt share any interest as me except halo. I dont even agree with his point of view on women. I have some confidence in myself.
