She has a net friend, and she has started loving him! No matter how much she tries, thoughts of him keep her mind busy and this has started taking a toll on her personal and professional life. Her net friend seems like a decent chap, but doesn't seem to feel the same for her as she does for him..Its been 5 months and I think she needs to come out of this imaginary world. But don't know how to persuade her to come back to reality. What to do about this guy?Can anyone actually fall in love with someone they've never met?!! Is there a way we can make sure that this guy doesn't have any bad intentions? Don't know what this guy wants.

sure you can, I did when I was just 14 or so I was so in love with him I tried writting to him and even going as far as trying to find his number in California, and I was in Michigan at that time. Can't remember his name anymore because I am now 38 but he was in the movie Blue Lagoon with Brooke Sheilds. Christifer Atkins was his name and I thing at that time I would have done almost anything to see him. Imaginary is a great thing because without it can you imagine how boring life would be? Look at your self, I bet you imagine things all the time but don't even realize it. Don't worry your friend will come out of it sooner or later. sunnydays

That Happens way to much, I saw on Jerry Springer a guy who dumped his GF on TV for a Gal he met on the net,,, he was in love with this girl,,, his GF was shocked (and was good looking) and then Jerry brought His new net GF on (he had never met her only photos and chat.) well the Gal turned out to be a transvestite,,, His real GF wouldn't take him back,,, good for her he got what he deserved.

Your friend needs to met this guy in a public place for coffee and find out more about him, I have dated over the net for 5 years and met some nice Lady's and some real strange Lady's, I have emailed some ladies and built a bond with them I figure this is the one and when we met there is nothing, and only have one date. so I have learned that even thou I find a winner on line it's in person that counts. be careful there are allot of crazies out there and if they live in the same city and been talking for 5 months and haven't met then he's probably married....

Yes, it's possible to be infatuated with an image of what we belive to be true. The best way to make you wake up and see the real person is meet them, have a meal and a conversation.See what he really wants. But if thats not possible im sure she will get bored soon enough or he will and that will be the end.He will just dissapear.

No thats wrong, I dont see how on earth you can fall in love with some one over the net ???? (weird), they might meet for the 1st time and it would probably be the opposite to what she has imagined in her head
