so..im not allowed to have a bf....but i said yes when he asked me out...my bf knows im not allowed....what should i do...i dont want to break up with him...i like him.....how could i get my parents to let me have a bf....with out finding out i already do?

I have tried online dating, most people I meet are many miles away. Do some people think that i will be so attracted and madly in love with them that even though we could meet for a week or so a year that we could have a successful relationship? if I am in California and she is in Maine, it isn't a trip you make every weekend.

I will be getting married and if I choose to put an announcement in the paper I am not sure what to write. My mother is deceased and I have not spoken to my dad in 9 years. Would it be rude to leave him out of it? Should i just not even bother putting one in the paper? I don't even want to put the place of the wedding in it for fear that my dad would show up and ruin my wedding. I don't know what to do!!!!

I just typed an important email to a male friend of mine and before I could send/save it, my session loged out. I checked everywhere for the email but it is knowhere to be found. I dont know if I should retype the email or just leave it alone. I was regarding a problem that I have which is kinda personal. He kept asking what was wrong so I decided to put everything in an email. Maybe it was a sign that everyone doesnt need to know everything. A person in my life claims that they "love" me but when I need them, they are never around. They never call or visit and will only infrequently respond to emails, always closing with "I love you".

To me, these are empty words. Love is SHOWING someone you care, not just telling them. And this person says it I think to make themselves feel better, as though saying you love someone is the right thing to do and enough.

What do you say to a person like this? Is there any poem or story that better illustrates how meaningless the words are without action?

I dont know what to do, I cant afford a lawyer, we arent divorced yet, but will be soon, and he wants to have shared custody with my 2 year old daughter. He wants it so he has her every other week, which i think is rediculous. I think that will confuse her and mess with her head too much. Any ideas about that or other arrangements on visitation?

most times i feel he loves her more, he says he's happier with me cos he quarrels with her most times. but i feel so insecure with him cos i feel he is lying. but his actions towards me most times shows that he cares somehow. what i want to know is if i am doing the right thing by staying with him. then sometimes i feel guilty like i am hurting the other girl. i've talked to him about it but he says i shouldn't worry myself about her and that i am not hurting anybody. at first he said she had a boyfriend before him that's why he didn't mind dating her. but something keeps telling me its not through. i'm confused. i love him. should i let him go? or just keep waiting for him to finally leave her.?most times i just think he will not leave her cos they have been dating for 5years or so. what should i do?

Been dating since early December. He did not invite me to his birthday party. He did come over for Xmas, late and did not bring me a gift. I did get him one but hid it when I saw he was empty handed. Now he has advised that he is going to a friend's NYE party and he would like to get together with me earlier in the weekend. Does it sound like he is not interested in me to you?

When we are together it is so great. We talk all the time and email. Super great.

Why the blow off for the holidays, though?

I am bummed because I thought that this year I would have someone to share a NYE kiss with.

My sister has always been a bit rude and hurtful but for some reason it is escalating. This year when I shipped her Christmas gift, I decided to wait and see how long it would be before she contacted me to say she received it (in past years, I would call her to see if she got it okay). It took her three weeks! I can almost put this aside, except this year she didn't even call mom on Christmas. I kind of felt she wouldn't because she didn't call on mom's birthday either but this really peeves me off. My mother is trying to say it's no big deal but she is very hurt (she waited by the phone all day). Should I finally just lay it on the line and tell sis what I think?

i have a bf. he keeps asking me to go on a date and the truth is, i would like to but my parents wont let me. i am 15, and he is 15 too. the reson my parents wont let me go is (1) they say im too young and (2) they dont like hi b/c he is black and i am white. they are not racist thye just like me to date white boys. they dont even give him a chance...how can i get them to let me go out somewhere with him?
