My little brother graduates basic training next month and I want to send him some goodies that will be useful to him during his service.

As a member of the armed forces, I would say anything from home is a good package. I have a younger sister who periodically sends me things to let me know she cares. If he gets deployed immediately, perhaps a few of his favorite foods. If he's staying at home (for now), something that would help him remember good times at home (photos, etc.) or something to help him make good memories now (camera maybe?) would be appropriate. Keep in mind that space may be limited, but our soldiers do enjoy getting things from home. Thank you for your support.

Go Army!

In most stores (even the dollar stores) they have tuna in a easy to tear open pack and it comes with mayo. Send some of that along with some crackers and he has a good snack. They also have peanut butter and jelly that comes in the easy to tear open packs. Some warm socks to keep his feet warm. Panty hose (not kidding) to keep his legs warm. Juice boxes to wash down the snacks. That's all i can think of at the moment.

Send a care package. They would love things like tuna fish, cassette tapes or c.d's, stamps, envolopes and things like that. Anything non perishable.

He would probably love anything! Maybe a good cd or two, his favorite food, MP3 player! Something that will take his mind off his work.
