A friend of my husband's committed suicide on Christmas Eve. We live 400 miles away and it's really hard. We're trying to go home for the funeral, but don't know if we can.

How do you deal with death? Are there things I can do to help my huband grieve?

My roommate has someone living in our apartment, that is not on our lease. This person does not pay rent. I've tried talking to her with no luck. I'm really sick of the whole situation. Do I report my friend to our landlord and risk straining our relationship? I do have to live with this person and don't want there to be an tension. Should I tell the landlord I want out of the lease all together?

Mostly my feelings are hurt--I had money to spend this year, he started a job last year after his plant closed down and is making half of what he used to, but because I had some saved and am working I've been paying the majority of the bills. I guess I thought he would get me a little something (a box of candy would've been enough--a pair of socks--even a card!!!). I bought everything for the kids, his family, my family (not that there are that many but--), dinner, etc. The last gift I got from him was 3 years ago--and it was a teakettle. I don't mean to sound materialistic but doggone!!! I work everyday, come straight home, cook dinner, house is clean, laundry is done. It's not so much getting something as my feelings were really hurt!!! So should I just let it go and get over it? Well, guess I have to but---would you????

wel I was hanging out with my friend Ronnie tonight and everything was going great. We were watching a movie and chilling out and everything was fun! Then his buddy Eric stopped by and things spiced up with more fun, we were all laughing and having a good time and it was great. We've been intamet (ronnie and myself) but we've both decided to just be friends. Although I would like to have a relationship i respect his wishes and have said nothing else on the matter. When his friends are around he acts like I'm not even there...I mean some of his other friends even asked if we were fighting or something. I don't see why he acts like this..I mean we don't really fit into eachother's 'scenes' but that hasn't stopped us from being friends before so why would it when all of his other friends are around?..It makes me feel like the shitiest person alive, and left out and i hate the fact his friends treat me better when they're around than he does...why?

PLEASE READ ALL Well she's been my friend since grade 3, well I have a site, and someone said the colour of my page looked like ****, and to change it.. I remember before my friend told my it looked like ****, and I should chang it, so I thought maybe it was her. But I being my self didn't like what whoever had to say so I wrote after saying that WHO ever wrote this is a ***, and I'm not going to change just because one person told me to... and I staided some names along with it, I staided all my friends names, and my enimies along with it, then my friend write in the guestbox. Why are you blaming me for telling you that your front page coulor looked like ****.. So now I'm really angry with her, should I be, she got all defencive, at least she could be more thankfull I didn't blam her straight up, because I origanaly thought it was her... Tell me should I be mad at her, or at my self?

Recently when talking about the devestation in Iraq I asked my girlfriend if she would vote for me if I ran for president? She told me no that she would rather have bush in office. I then broke off the engagement and threw our engament ring in the oven a 370 degrees. I cursed out here parents and told them that they were the terrorist. Did I over react?

I'm 14 and I've been dating a 16 year old guy for about 2 weeks now. The relationship is well and all but...
We have everything in common.
We're both writers... and everything we've written, we've had a similar character or storyline. These are stories we wrote long before we knew eachother.
We're both sick. We have the same symptoms, at the same time.
We think along the exact same lines.
We feel physical pain in the same places.
And we can guess things about the other and be 100% accurate just because it's something we know about our personal self.

So I started dating this guy around the end of October, beginning of November. He was the one that pursued me initially. I, at the time, was going on a downward spiral of craziness, which I have gotten through. The guy I am dating is 14 years older than me, never married, and no kids. I am in my mid-twenties and I am currently building my career. Things were going great for the past two months. He would come over to hang out, we would go on nice dates to dinner and the movies. I thought everything was going well until a couple weeks ago, when I had my college graduation. Now he no longer calls me, and I have to initiate the communication. He has told me that my drinking bothers him, mind you I don't drink that much in the first place. The last straw was when we where hanging out and he started watching Cinemax with scantally clad women and I felt that there's a hot female right here and you want to watch barely clothed women on the tv. What do you think about this situation?

my boyfriend moved to Texas and he doesn't like me going out. Ok, I have a question about disciplining my bf's son. I was told that I can't discipline my bf's son (he's almost 10). It's not my place because I am not his mother. (I have never hit him and I never will) When I watch him and he does something wrong am I just supposed to turn my head? He has picked up my ferrets by their heads, he scares the beejeezes out of my cat, he won't do anything that I ask him to. He does this with his dad too. But if I can't discipline him, what am I supposed to do? His father (my bf) doesn't get home until about 1am, so I can't wait and have him punish him when he gets home. Most of the time he is an average hyper kid. But when he's acting up he really acts up. I'm not going to let my pets and my home be destroyed just because I'm not his mother. What am I supposed to do? My bf says that I should discipline him. But everyone else says I can't.

Ok...I just moved to town and I met this girl a few weeks ago, I really hate this place, so I it was too hard for me to see myself living here, so I didnt even tried to make friends I looked everyone with indiference and now I realized that it was useles to try to escape from reality and started to live again, but I found out that everyone is actually avoiding me for some reason, but she wasnt, this girl tried to talk to me lots of times but I just refused to talk, the last time she tried to talk to me I talked because I realized I was too mean and we actually enjoyed that talk, but since then she didnt even look at me and a day before the recess I was looking at her and she just fixed her hair
Does this mean anything??
Oh.. and one of those times she tried to talk to me she asked if I liked her with a friendly tone I said "like a friend, right?" and she just made a face like "what?"and said yes, but then she was looking at me and pointing conversations to me
