Funny you should ask...'cause I just got done asking the same question not too long ago. I Was...in a relationship and I felt left out everytime we were around mutual friends, but yet when it was just him and me, it was great. He would pay attention to them and barely looked at me. I came to realize that that is how he deals with that aspect of relationships and also realized that he was just a bit immature. He was and is not aware and or taught how to act in a relationship. People are a product of their parents! Hope this helps!

Dear Sara,
Ronnie is having problems putting the genie back into the bottle. He is uncomfortable with the fact that at one time you were intimate and now you are not.
I suggest that you wait for a time that you can speak with him alone and ask him what his problem is. Does he regret breaking things off, or is he just uncomfortable with you? If it is the latter, you should consider hanging with other people. He isn't the only fish in the sea.

that is just how guys are. before my boyfriend and i got together, he would constantly act like i'm not there when he's with his friends and now we've been going out for 3 years! what u should do is talk to Ronnie. he probly doesn't even notice what he is doing and how much it affects u

I believe he only see you as a friend that came with benifits... girls tend to get attatched more then boys. And when you start a relationship off letting the guy know that you are easy game, then they will always look at you that way and really won't care....

he's probably really not into you. i would think he treats you well while you're alone because he feels no pressure to be something else. When friends are around, they might be tempted to ask questions that he wouldn't like to answer. I would still talk to him about the way he's treated you. Although his answer might be legitimate, its not very fair towards your feelings.

He's only worth your time if he treats you like a princess no matter who will witness his behavior.
He's immature...keep your relationship in the friends category, but don't go further-find someone who treats you like you deserve to be treated. You don't need to be used or to feel used.

he's probably scared of commitment... seeing you could probably sparks up commitment contract for him...or he's just acting all "hard to get"....or something like that.
try some inoccent flirting with one of his friends that treats you better than him...if he gets jealous, he's got feelings for you.
then sit down and talk. if there's nothing there then move on and be good friends.

i think u should stop .. messing around with him.. maybe thats why he lost respect for you in the 1st place... apparently he doesnt see you as good game in front of his pals..and it would be a shame for their friends to know that you guys have been intimate..... so maybe thats how he is trying to hide the fact that he is horny and has been messing around with you ... in desperation.... i say u get back your dignity and tell him when he is being a jerk .. in front of everyone "why are you such a jerk when you are around your friends... you are such a p_u_ss_y... b/c you never do that when we are lone"....

if you have seen the movie 'Grease' then you know EXACTLY hos Sandy feels. a lot of guys act differently around their friends becuase they want to be accepted by them. and he probably likes you and is afraid to show his feeling for you around his friends.
~guys start drama and then deny it later~
