...what makes "love" last longer?

I was sure I was ready then this happenned. I stopped it because I wasn't sure if being scared was normal or if that meant that I really wasn't ready. Has anyone else had this kind of experience? Is it just the emotions of the moment and the unknown (we're both still virgins) like I thought or is it something more?

My mother in law hates everything I ever get her for Christmas or birthday. She seems to think my husband (her baby boy) is the only one among the entire family that can pick out presents for her. There are 3 brothers - all married to fine shopping women. I actually cried last year when she opened the gift I bought her (she loves tea - I gave her a teapot and loose tea) and said she would rather have Lipton tea the regular way - then set it aside and went to the next gift (she is 75 yrs old). She even gave away a purse I bought her (after she commented how much she loved mine) right after she opened it - all in front of me because she said she would never use it. I vowed I would not buy for her again, it's the baby boy's job... but he gets her the same sweater each year and I need another idea to give him (no, the hubby rarely does the deciding, but he does the shopping now- I tell, he takes credit and goes and buys). Any advice?

OKay I just met this guy and he is really nice...but not quite my type.
I really really think(he kmakes it SO obvious) that he likes me more than a friend.
But I dont have those kind of feelings for him....
What shuld i do?
I dont want to hurt him...I know how rejection kinda feels and its not good.
So what should I say or do..to kinda drop a hint that I dont like him that way?

Well i live in Michigan and have alot of friends and my mom and dad lives here and they are divorced(since 99') but my dad wants to move to Kentucky but its up to me i gotta make a choice go and make new friends and probably have a better life because hes moving to start new company's that are proven will be successful but i don't know if its worth leaving my friends and mom. i would still come back alot and see them but i wouldn't go to school here and i can decide if i want to or not its a really hard thing for me to decide and i was wondering what you would do. I like Kentucky but i like Michigan to and i just think it would be fun living there cause i love going there but i don't know if i could live there and go to new school in 10th grade and make new friends and stuff.. i don't know any help to make my choice would be great thanks!

Ok, so theres this guy I really like at my school, but he's really hard to read and I get really confused. Like he'll wait on me after class, sit in the cafeteria (which is where I am, this change has started to happen in the last week) instead of going off campus, smile at me a lot, stare at me, want to be near me, etc.

But then he also asks other girls for pens/pencils when I'm pretty close to him, gives them a lot of attention (beyond friendly, more flirty) and stuff. How do I know he doesn't do this to lots of other girls on a daily basis? If he's trying to make me jealous, it's working.

It's just a huge ball of mixed signals. I've tried to mask my feelings for him completely because of this, he's in two of my classes and if it ends up he doesn't like me (let's say I ask him) it would be awkward for the rest of the year.

Me and my fella are both 20 years old and engaged, we've been together for 3 and a half years. He's my dream come true and we want to start saving money so we can have a great wedding in a few years to come. We are looking for a house at the moment. He's really confusing me. I talk to him and ask him when he would really like to get married, sometimes he says in 2 years time and sometimes he says in 10 years time. There are even times when he strokes my belly and smiles at me... hinting that he wants a baby! But sometimes he says he doesn't want one untill we're 30! Whatever he chooses is fine with me but will i ever know what he REALLY wants? he never makes his mind up. And they say women are difficult! lol.

I hate being jealous. She's always with this guy and everytime they're together, i always break something in the house.
