About six monthes ago in acting class I met a guy who I got a little obsessed with. I talked with my friend about him and she asked him out for me. He never said yes or no then back at acting I just acted like a freak around him and couldent stop flirting. I didn't want to I felt like I was in some trance or something. Then after it ended I asked him over to my house a few times. He never said yes or no. Then he made up some story that he was a pot head and his band broke up because of it. So since I cared about him I asked my mom to write his mom a letter about it. So I mailed it to his house. Ever since August when that letter got to his house. He has hated me ever since. I can't forget about him. In a way its just tearing me apart. What can I do to make the feeling go away or help any?

I had planned on maybe getting her some jewelry but I have no idea what. Okay...so i heard somewhere that a promise ring isnt only for people who arent ready to propose but are for other purposes as well...like saying i love you...you are mine forever...your my one and only valentine...bestfriends forever..things like that...and i recently set up my profile stating that i wanted a promise ring from soemone special this x-mas...and of course i already have that personn (he isnt my bf yet...and i dont thnk im ready to go out with anyone yet) but we both have really deep feelings towards eachother. He asked me what i wanted, he saw my profile, but he acted liek he didnt noe...he insisted that he wanted to get me earrings..but i dont like people picking out earings for me since im very picky...do you think its wrong of me to say that i want a promise ring from him???

My partner broke up with me 3 weeks ago, citing 'different expectations'. We have been together for 2 years, living together for 1. Since he broke up with me he has been in contact every day, or every other day, either by phone, dropping round, email etc etc. Why is he doing this? It is usual to leave someone alone once you have broken up, isn't it? It's not related to the house, or moving stuff out etc.

He's been drunk every night since and by all accounts is having a hard time with this. What does it mean? I'm so terribly confused. So is my 5 year old daughter.

Not only that, but he is staying with a friend of MINE who I work with. It's all quite bizarre. Guys - help me out here, why does he continue to contact me, even though I have NEVER once called him etc during this, and have even asked TWICE for some space.

Hi! I'm 13 and my parents are sort of "argueing" right now. Their fights/arguments are strange because if they dissagree or start rasing their voices, they just won't talk to each other for a while. They try to avoid each other as much as possible. My parents have argued like this many times, and have gotten into some pretty bad arguements, and it's a miracle they stayed together after some of them. But, it's depressing, uncomfortable, and Christmas is coming up. They both listen to me but never really take what I say seriously. Anyways, is there anything I can do to maybe help out or prevent it? And if they do split up, what should I do to make the hit less painful?

I have this friend that keeps telling me that he really loves me a lot, but he always point out that we're too far apart because he said he's just too ugly and i'm the other way around. I hate it when he says that. Well, he's not good-looking actually, but I like him just because he's nice and caring. Yet I turned him down, because I'm not ready to have a boyfriend yet, and I'm not yet sure if I want to have a boyfriend at the moment. Is that wrong or not? I have been seperated for over 3 months. I am relocating out of state to get a fresh start. My soon to be ex-husband was becoming mean and abusive before he left me. I was devasted when he left me, but I am finally getting over him & I know we are better off without him. About 6 weeks ago I was feeling very lonely & missing the MAN I THOUGHT he was. I dropped our daughter off at school & went to visit him to talk about my feelings about our break-up. I don't want him back, I was just missing him. Driving over to his apartment I knew I was making a mistake, but we all do foolish things. At 39 I should know better. But needless to say we had sex & we used a condom. Now I'm 10 days late & took a home pregnancy test...... It was positive. I have not slept with anyone else, I haven't even dated because I'm not ready for that yet. I know a man has a right to know if he's going to be a father. But I am afraid to tell him. Would you tell him?

I live with my fiance' and my daughter. Whenever I ask my mom for financial help she does what she can with no problem. If she can't help at that moment she will ask my dad who always says no and his first response is you need to move back home because you wouldn't have to worry about money then.
I do not get along with my dad whatsoever and never have. My mom tries to override anything I tell my daughter to do so that wouldn't work either.
I've been with my fiance' 6yrs and have lived with him for 4yrs. We are doing the best we can do right now and I don't want to leave him. I don't want my daughter to live apart from her dad. What should I do? Feel free to go into depth.

Me and my boyfriend is ''taking a break''....his idea.It's killing me.I've never been so depressed in my life.This was both of our's longest relationship.We were each others first love.His mom said he was and still is crazy about me.I dont know what to do.I've cried every noght since he told me we need to take a break.He promised me that we'd get back together and get married.He said May 2008 we'd get back together and then the following September on the 16th(my 17th birthday)that he'd ask my parents if we could get married.I love him so much.I swear.And I swore to him that I would keep that promise(about the plan..2008..may,september)and he also swore and promised me.We hung out last night..very hard.But we had fun.He still kisses me.He did last night.I dont turn it down...lol.But someone tell me what to do.And if you've been in this situation before tell me what you did.I'm in desperate need of help!!PLEASE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE....sorry this was so long!!
