It will haunt you until you feel accepted and loved by someone again. If you live with one rejection after another, it eventually leads to serious emotional issues.
You are worth love for someone. Someday you will find that person. Unfortunately, we do things by trial and error when it comes to finding our lifetime mate. This causes a lot of pain for people when it doesn't work out.
Best Wishes,
Sue

Depends on you... if you put a lot of time, thought, and effort into asking for a date or what not, then its going to take a lot of time to get over it. The more you built that moment up in your head, the more its going to take to wear it down. Next time, go into a thing with a little less pressure on yourself. There are a few rejection moments from years ago that still haunt me from time to time. Take it easy, and look forward to the next opportunity you'll have.
