Family & Relationships - 15 December 2006

She never tells me when family members or close friends are very ill, hospitalized, or have died. This is craziness, and it has happened on more then one occasion.
Two very good examples-my Great-Aunt died a few years ago. My mother never told me. I read about it in the news paper obituaries after the fact. I didn't attend her memorial or even send flowers because I had no idea she had died. And just today I found out (from my cousin) that my Grandmother has been in the hospital, scheduled for surgery that she may not live through. Still, my mother has not told me AND IT IT HER OWN MOTHER!
There have also been family friends & neighbors who have been ill or died and I have not known about it until after the fact and never from my mother directly. Needless to say it has made for a few awkward moments.
Does anyone out there have a clue as to why my mother behaves this way?

I am an adult in my mid thirties with a family of my own, and I speak to my mother on a semi-daily basis.

He also has a house full of dragons (nice ones and in a beautiful glass Curio cabinet) and other dragon art. plus mideval stuff. but I don't like those naked women vampires in his bedroom!!!!!! what do you think it signifies, if anything??

I had a very serial experience with a girl I met on a train. The feelings I had where beyond words. I gazed into her eyes and she looked back, I smiled at her and she smiled back. I also noticed her playing with her hair, you know the way girls do when they like someone. And she had this weird glow about her like a bright light she really took my breath away. And when we were waiting to get off the train, she avoided eye contact with me, but hung back a little as if she wanted me to talk to her. And as she was walking away from the platform, she took one last look back at me. Are these all signs that a girl likes someone? The only reason I did not talk to her was, one I was nervous and she was with a group of other girls. I mean what is it with girls hanging out in packs. Don’t they realise how much harder it is to talk to a girl if she is with a lot off girls at the time? So what can I do now, I see her every time I go to work. And I really want to talk to her, but I don’t want to embarrass myself in front off her friends please help!

I have an aunt who fits in the category of someone I love, but don't like much. I've never liked her, and neither does my brother. When he was a toddler he actually blurted it out because he didn't want to sit beside her. Everyone else seems to find her so sweet and thoughtful, but I think she's affected and manipulative. She tries too hard...she'll pull me into the corner and ask me to give her my special prayer requests. I feel she only does it because she's needy rather than really wanting to reach out. When someone confronts her about something, she will just chuckle like it's funny and not let it touch her instead of giving it serious consideration. Am I the cynic or do you think my baby brother was right?

This girl is my friend and while i go to work someone told me my boyfriend sneaks to her house and stays about a good hour! I asked him about it and he said that people are lying! Me and my fiancee have been together for 1 year and a 1/2. And We just don't feel the same about each other anymore. We are constantly fighting and all. And the company i work for almost all of our customers are men. At work there is this one specific customer that everytime he comes in he wants to take me on a date!! What I am really trying to say is that my boyfriend & I been together almost 5 years now. At the same time, I talk to 3 different other people also. One of them, we been talking for 6 months, the other one for 4 months, & the last person was a ex-boyfriend. We have been talking almost month now. My husband has had a past of pornography. He says he is clean. I do believe this, but..Sometimes it looks like he's going off to another planet when he sees a pretty woman. I think his rocket isn't landing when he tells me he's thinking of something else at the time. I can't see this as humanly possible that you cannot SEE, what your eyes are on.
