I love tossing a small girl around and being able to pick a girl up without much effort but I am a big guy. I know some small guys that love big women. its personal preferance. generally speaking however I feel a man likes to feel like a man (protector) and a woman likes to feel like a woman (protected)

I enjoy the fact that my husband is way taller than I am, but I know several very happy couples where the woman is larger/taller than the man.
The general public and family will be the most difficult to deal with when there's an obvious difference (such as my nephew: He is 5'7" and overweight and his girlfriend is 6'3" and a stick).
The most important factor is feeling comfortable with each other!!

Yes, I believe they do, but I see people all the time where the woman is bigger & they seem to be in a happy relationship, too.

It makes more sense, even though I know some lady who is literally 4 or 5 inches taller than her husband. Its hilarious to see them together.

I think so........but I also think that women prefer it that way too. My girl says that she feels secure with me around and that women like to feel that their man is physically big and strong enough to protect her.

for the most part, you get the odd person (not saying they themselves are odd) who doesnt care tho. like with my parents, and a few of my friends parents.
