When I mentioned to my male supervisor that I had to take a day off sick because I was having a particularly heavy period - he stopped me before I could go into any further detail.
He went all red in the face and told me it was okay.
I was only going to tell him that....well, it doesn't matter now.

We seem to be able to talk about everything else but not the curse - why is that?

I'm in the beginning phases of a break-up. I've been in this co-dependent mess for long enough and I am calling it quits. I tend to rescue. We just had the conversation Friday and I was stupidly hopeful that before as he finds a new place, things could be amicable. He was an a*s to me last night, just said the most horrible stuff and now the silent guilt stuff today. I have wanted out of this for so long and I have to stand my ground. I need to get some work done but today I was completely distracted. I think it will take a month or so for him to leave and I have got to keep it together. Any thoughts? This is my house and if I left my house, he would not leave unless I went through the long process of eviction. And this is my house and I feel like giving up my house would be more of the same rescue stuff I've been doing that I'm fixing right now.

my brother is a closet crackhead. the blank hit the fan last year and he went to the bottom. he went into treatment and clean his self up. for seven months he was clean. but he's back, a full fledge crack head. selling his clothes, jewelry and car for CRACK COCAINE. he's a vet and has been in the va's program this year? can he return this year or does he have to wait for the year to turn. i hate to see him in the cold but i'm fed up. i'm want him out of my house. it's depressing to see someone give up everything for this drug some one answer quick!

A guy friend I have made recently is very friendly: he puts his arm around me, hugs me, plays with my hair, tickles me, and calls me his "loveable dork". I told my best guy friend all the things this new guy friend does around me, and he keeps telling me that he thinks it should stop and he called it gross that this guy gave me a pet name(loveable dork).Do you think my best guy friend is concerned,or jealous? Lately, all my friends are morphing into the ideal Middle Schoolers. They wear make-up, gossip, flirt with all the cute guys, and go shopping every week....literally. I don't like to wear make-up, I think gossip is wrong, no guys come near me, and I can't afford to go shopping like them. Because I'm so different, I think they're pushing me out. They replaced me at the lunch table, they find different partners on projects, and they don't talk to me in class anymore, they prefer the cutie guys! Please, what should I do?

My husband is obssesed with this football playstartion game...its my fault because he said he wanted it and on our year anniversary thats what i bought him....but its his life....he doesnt wanna help clean house..cause he wants to play his video game...he wont work overtime at work because he wants to sit home and play his video game....and i know this sounds sooo immature...but thats really it...hed rather play his video game...i came home from work today and my daughter went to sleep and i was like you wanna snuggle and hes like no...and goes and turns on that damn game....im really getting pissed...i know it was a gift but is it legimate to chunk it yet?!

There is a girl in my school who I am really attatched to now. She has a class with me and we talk all throughout that. She is naturally very flirty but she does flirt more often with me and usually more personal flirting with me. She and I have known each other for a year and a half or so but I have just started likin her. She and I talk every night on the phone and if I don't call her, she will call me. She and I have gone out every weekend for a while now and when we are in the country in my car, she will put on some romatic music and get quiet and tell me to sing it. (Apparently she likes my voice.....I know this all sounds stupid haha). She is kind of shy but romantically flirty when she is around just me. Whoever,
I like my best friend's sister! Should I tell her in person ( I'd prefer this ), through one of her friends, a note, etc.; or not at all?
It was established early this year that we're friends, not just another part in life. ( Example : I should be calling her a friend right now, not "my best friend's sister" ) Anyway, I want to tell her, but without disturbing anything between someone else and... myself.
Im a 3 or 4 yr famly frend.

I've had the same feelings for about the two past years, but it's been weighing more on me lately.

Erm, explain this one, please! He's been pointing things out for a while, saying she acts differently around/toward me; and has made no attempt to keep/tell me away ( almost opposite from what I pick up ) ... I don't know how to pour it out in front of him, other than being quite simple about it.

I'm married to a wonderful man (caring, loyal, devoted, hardworking, compassionate) but I swear, the man totally lacks a romance gene. I don't think it would ever occur to him to buy me flowers or a little card or any small surprise. If I ask him to or remind him, he does feel contrite and sorry, but... after the 1-off bouquet of flowers he'll bring home th next time, I get nothing for months-- rarely even a spontaneous compliment. I feel guilty to complain because he's 99% wonderful. But it's depressing.
Christmas is coming, as is our anniversary and Valentine's Day and I know he won't even THINK to buy a card. It's like it never ever ever crosses his mind.
What can I do? It's making me feel like less than a woman. Why doesn't he GET it? He's highly educated so how can this be??

There is this boy that flirts with me and i really thought he liked me.I asked him out and he said no.He really is giving me the wrong idea if he doesn't like me. I asked him if it was because of peer presure and he said no, but I think he was lienig because he didn't look at me when he said it...he looked ashamed. we went on a feild trip and he had some of his friends sitting next to him when he got the note that asked him to go out with me. He still flirts with me...but not as much and there's not like a "connection" like there used to be. How do I know if he does like and if it was really what his friends thought??I really like him and he knows it because i told him. He wouldn't really look at me after I told him while later I started to talk to him again.

If your "best friend" moved away and called you every day and then she moved to Mexico for four months for student abroad and came back and hasn't called you.
Ok here is some more info.
We have been best friends since 3rd grade.
She moved about two hundred miles away to go to college but we still talked everyday for three years.
Four and a half months ago she moved to mexico.
She said that she would call me a couple of times but never did.
She has been back for two weeks.
no call or anything.
I can't call her because she got her phone disconected for yhe time she was gone.
what would you do?
