I have been procrastinating on sending an ex friend of mine an apology letter, I mean I know I owe this person an apology and it would be wrong of me to never try to apologize. But for some reason it is taking me a long time to finish writing it. So my question is why do we take so long to do what's right instead of just waiting and hoping things turn out for the best?

My dad doesn't want me to move out, because he wants me to focus on getting my MBA. Since I have to work for a couple of years in order to get into a good MBA program, there's no way of getting my MBA sooner. I really want my independence and I have always been scared of my father. I've never done anything against my father's wishes, and I'm having a lot of trouble gathering the courage to confront him.

When I first asked him about it, I asked if I could move in with my boyfriend, since I would be splitting half the rent. From this, he forbade me to move and thinks I will get side tracked and forget about advancing my career.

I know I'm 22 and legally am able to do what i want, but I need some advice for daughters who are too scared to confront their fathers.

Please note: He has never hit me, but then again, I have rarely given him reasons to.

well there was this boy who goes to my school and i don't kno him but he knos me and well he really likes me. and he started sending me this really sweet notes and i started to like him too but then he sent me one note and i totally forgot about it and i didn't write back becuz i was like stressed wit school and stuff. and now he hates my guts.. i just talked to him on aim becuz he's friends wit my friend and he called me a hoe and stuff and well he doesn't believe tht i really like him back and tht i'm reallly truly sorry. wht should i do?????!!!! He moved out in January, tried counselling for one month, became distant cheated in February then by March he was sorry for everything and wanted to come back. Gave him a chance until June when he said that he was depressed again, felt that things were still the same and couldn't see how to make it work. Since June there has been barely any contact with the exception of a family bbq and 2 funerals. I keep waiting it out thinking that he'll change his mind but fear that the more time that passes the easier it will be for him to forget and move on. Which is why I pose my question it will be a year since he moved out in January.

I have been with my bf for 2 yrs, hes 23 and im 19. things were great up until the weekend when he went home to c his parents. he came back and suddenly its over! He says his parents weren't happy cause im not a big talker (which i have never been) and they think its rude! also he wanted to go overseas with me for a few months and now suddenly its a year and he wants to go by himself! i know he doesn't want it to be this way, i can tell by the look on his face when i see him and the fact that he cries too. THis is a serious question. I think my friend is being abused by his parents. Actually i know he is. He told me yesterday. HE told me not to tell but i know i have to. I dont feel comfortable tlking to my parents or a counseler cuz it just feels wierd. I do trust my science teacher and social studies teacher from last year. Should i talk to them since i dont feel comfortable tlking to parents or counceler????? And since i dont see them everyday should i email them and tell them or email them and set up a time to tlk???

Guys, If your g/f was supposedly(according to most guys) the hottest, most sought after girl, would you not let her have guy friends?? My friend's b/f hates it when she spends time with her guy friends, who all like her. Is he normal or overreacting??

i always see him around my building and we have always been fond of eachother........and he just randomly asks me to be with him and i was just so happy but i told him he barely knows me and we should get to know eachother....so we sat in the hallway and talked and my brother and his friend ruined thesituation.so i got up and left...then he came to my window and asked me to come outside again....and we talked until 11:30.......i really like him........but he confuses me....i give him "the look" and he looks down when he talks.......any guys out there...i need tips and hints to get him and keep him....especially if ur a greaser...cuz he is and so u might have stuff in common....but please i need all the help i can get ............ thanks lot............ :)

my bf of 3 days dad just had a heart attack n is having surgery done 2night. Also, my friend attempted suicide yesterday n was sooooo close 2 dying. Well as you already know he doesn't answer the phone and when I tell him to call me bacC he says he will but he doesn't. While I'm 23, I have a great deal of difficulty getting girls to like me and appropriately have very little dating experience.

My church has a dance every other month and for the past three this really hot guy has asked me to dance. I found out he goes to school with one of my best friends so I asked her to say hi for me. He recognized me and she said he got really excited asking her how she knew me and such... a week later he calls me from her cell and asks me how to spell my name. I was a little dumbstruck, I mean she said he wanted to call me instead of her doing it herself (because he wanted to know how to spell my name)... but isn't that a little odd?
