Like, my parents are like in their 60's, and they're way too old to do anything fun, but they never give me anything. Why don't old people give some of their money to people who are young enough to have fun with it? It seems like all the rich people I ever meet are old. What are they going to do with the money besides pay for nursing homes?

Probably because the best fun we oldies can have is seriously pissing off young people who want something for nothing.

Pay for health care, food, clothing, utilities, maybe some travel if they are lucky. Being old is risky because you are likely to get sick and hospitaly and nursing homes are expensive. Maybe they want to make sure they can continue taking care of themselves financially and not have to become a burden to you. They could possibly live another 30 years!
They may also fear that is they give you money you will not be motivated to do something with your life and will end up like a lot of rich people's kids; bums who are drug or alcohol addicted because they were bored.
The reason most rich people are old is because they worked and saved for 40 or 50 years. Young people have worked and saved for much less time therefore have less money.

Get a job and stop trying to live off your parents hard earned money! You're a BRAT! 60 is not to old to enjoy life.
I don't blame them for not giving you a dime.

you sound so superficial - i'm 24 i own my house earn my money and raise 2 kids, geez, i never once ask anyone for money - ever - That's what jobs are for - and your parents aren't old and you know at that age maybe all they want to do is relax, so give them a break, quit scrounging and go get a job!

because we sacificed everything to raise our kids and it is our turn. and you should have a job by now and support yourself, we parents go without things so you can have things and we work our butts off to make our money. its your turn to work your butt off and be grateful for what you had/have. and be thankful u still have them around,if u want to have fun get a job and spend ur own money! and do u know how expensive nursing homes are? its a shame u would do that to ur parents .I would take care of my mom and my daughter will take care of me, are u not close to ur parents? sad. my kids are my best friends.

Earn your own money...they don't owe you anything, and with that attitude you certainly don't deserve it...
They worked for what they have...follow suit and work and you'll have some too...when you get old (if you're lucky enough to do that) you can give away as much as you want...I doubt you'll be very inclined to give it to little ingrates, and won't remember you were once one...

it is expensive to retire now a days, they still have final cost to pay for, medicine is very expenive They worked hard there whole life to save up there money. usally people do leave there money to family in there wills, but on certain terms, like age.
