Black women: how would you feel if your son or brother got into a serious relationship with, or married, a white woman? Would it make no difference to you, or would you have honest feelings about it, or an opinion? How would you describe those feelings or that opinion?

Someone retold me a comedy routine by a black man in which he said he would only take his white girls out at night, for fear of confrontation from the "sistas." When he came across a group of sistas, he would tell his white girl to walk ahead, that he had to tie his shoe. I have drained some of the humor in the retelling, but I think it was Shakespeare who said there was a bit of truth in every joke.

There is not enough qualified black men to go around so why are so stubborn as a whole to opening our hearts to someone of a different race. Let's admit it our black knight in shining armor may never come and our marriage rate is so low it's depressing to a sistah like me we need to change our attitudes.

If guys have a booty call and then they see the girl that calls them up for sex every once an awhile at the club with other guys do they get a lil bit jealous, or not care. Like honestly....

My friend recently broke up with her boyfriend after a long and troublesome relationship (let's just say anyone on the outside knew it wouldn't work). Her mom still thinks that they will get together as she has a kid to him. We've been friends for a while now, but this recent break up just opens the fields for something I wanted to do for a while. However, she does have another friend, who I think is in the same state of mind as me, but from talking to her I know that she never will start a relationship with him. What should I do? Is it to early to ask or should I not risk losing this opportunity?

I have been married for almost three years. My husband has been in and out of jail our whole marrige. I have worked and supported both of us. Well know he has gotton in trouble again and needs money to get out of it. Well I don't have that kind of money. He is a 40 year old mommy boy. So 12 days ago he left me to go live with his mom because she saod she would help if he left me! Well I have pegged him to come home and explained to him how much i love him and miss him,but he said the only way he would come back is if i had enough money to get him out of trouble! I told him to please stand up for me to his mother and tell her that he needs help with the money but he is going home to his wife but he says he can't do that! Help! Should I continue to cry or just let go?

This girl at work Shelly keeps calling me a fat ugly toothless bittch that smells like rags. I don't like it because I dont think i'm even that fat and its just mean. I told the manager, and she laughed and said maybe I should take a shower. I don't want to tell the store manager, because I dont want to get fired. (I've been fired from 4 jobs in the last month). Should I just beat Shelly up after work tomorrow? I hate her.

My husband is a young-ish guy, (28), and everynight that he isn't working, he drinks beer. He usually drinks between 4-8 a night....I think that this is a little "overboard". I have tried asking him to lay off a bit, I have tried making jokes about it, I have even just tried to ignore the problem - but I need to know how to deal with it. He is a person who will not really "discuss" anything...or fight for that matter. It just seems to be cutting down on "us" time, because he will drink, and then get so tired from it he will be in bed by 9:00 or 9:30 at night, when I am up until at least 11:00 or so......HELP!!!

I just cannot figure this out. I was good friends with my neighbours until one day in November the neighbour came to the door with a problem.Iwas not able to answer the door....he told me about the problem on the cellphone and I said """Count me out as a friend" He got angry and told me he would instantly and did not need me. 30 days passed and I sent an explanation letter and apolgy for me behaviour in the letter. He called to tell me he did not appreciate the letter and was taking legal action against me for mystatement about stopping out friendship. I will take off my list completely and sue you. Iwas surprised. he is so angry. I want smoney money money from me. I called the Police to say he was extorting from me. No , he told the police...just want to go ahead with a lawsuit ...see if I get any money from you.....I went to a lawyer to-day to explain the story....No money ,,,,,,but still we do not talk anymore.
IHe hurts over this incident, needs $20,000 from me to make it better?
