my girlfriend, she act totally different twards me when she is around her friends. her attitude changes, even her personality.
she tends to treat me that of a lesser person...is this normal for girls to put a front on in front of their friends?
when shes with me, is that really who she is?

I'm 14, almost 15, and I have a pink teddy bear that I found in a yard sale. It was practically new, so I decided, "Hey, why not?" and took it (it was free). 2 years later, I'm very attached to it and sleep with it at night. my girlfriend, of 6 years (lived together for 4 years) has stook by me since we got our 1st house 4 years ago, just b4 we sighned 4 our 1st house i told her that i was doing cocaine, (quite a lot, £200 a week), but would stop!. i did for a bit, then started again, then she thought i stopped, but didnt, then i did, then carried on, an thats how its been ever since. now its like this- every time i have it, she knows, instantly, either when we talk on fone, by the tone of my voice, or instantly when she see's me, trouble is, she hates it as much as me. i think she is only hanging about to save the shame she will feel, also, i know she loves me unconditionally, why? she puts things off with her friends because she doesnt want to leave me at a loose end, i have even said and done bad things to her... look people, i know u r all gunna slag me off here, but please, after that, try an help... my partner is 100% normal, in every way, i love her loads an loads, wats up with me???????

How do you handle a child with an unreasonable (too costly, too personal etc) gift (Christmas, birthday etc) for the ex-spouse???

We all know it's mom or dad's job to buy the gifts from the children to the other parent.

In the case of divorce:

How does one handle the too expensive gift......do you set a limit for the child to spend...give the child the money and let him or her shop?

What about the overly personal .......for instance the diamond commericals....hey dad.....let's get mom that diamond necklace for Christmas? How do you handle that??

Generally speaking how do most people handle gifts from the children to the ex-spouse???


PS....any one who wants to rant about unreasonable gifts....I can think of one 'children's' gift that is totally unreasonable.....feel free.

Recently my boyfriend started working nights and I hate it. He spends forever in bed and then he goes to work. The only thing we do is go food shopping. He's an idiot too because he works nearly 50 hours a week and only gets paid for 40, he may aswell be working a normal hour, the pay he gets is rubbish! I have 2 small children and he doesn't spend anytime with them except when I work part time in a shop, that's only 3 hours and their always asleep then. We don't have a day off together and I'm going a bit crazy. I can't go out with friends because he works nights and I haven't got a babysitter. Should I stop moaning and get on with it or tell him to get a different job?

I need some advice. I'm 26 years old, and very very very in love with my boyfriend. We've been together for almost 2 years and I couldn't be happier. The problem is that I still have insecurities about if he'll stick around. He was with another woman for 4 years, and then moved on. I've never given my heart away or opened myself up for so much potential hurt before. I don't want to have to be walking on pins & needles until after the 4 yr mark just so I know that he's not going anywhere.
