i didn't at first. but the more i got to know you and understand you, i fell in love with you. and every minute and every day, i am thankful for you. so if you really must need to know it was kismet. and i have no regrets about taking a chance with you. i hope you feel the same way about me. i will always love you.

Your wife sounds like she has a screw loose in her head. "She knew she was meant for you"? Sounds like obsession to me, and the exact thing a stalker would say.

The answer should be because no one has ever crossed your path who makes you feel the way she does..if this is not the case...stay quiet and tell her you can't give her an explanation.
